Hotel Du Congres is conveniently located in the heart of Brussels. It's housed in 4 renovated 19th century town houses that combine charm and practicality in an atmosphere of quality and comfort.
A very nice hotel, looks good from the outside and although the rooms are basic (bed and bathroom) it is a quiet and comfortable hotel.
We went for the Christmas markets and it was only a short distance from the centre of Brussels (about a 15 min walk).
Breakfast was a typical Belgian breakfast including bread and cheese and pastries and was on a buffet style but it was very good.
The only possible downside is the lack of parking as there is only meter parking along the road costing 30 Euros a day however the receptionist said that if you have an English car then there is no need to pay as if you get a ticket it won't ever get back to England.
We only ended up parking outside the meter times so we didn't get a ticket so don’t know how true that it is but it was worth knowing if you want to take the chance.
