We first went to Kermia Beach in August 2005, we could not believe we could have chosen a better holiday. Everything from bungalow to staff was first class, we went self catering, food was delicious. We went back again in October 2006 and it was just as good as first time around, this time we went half board, we are going back again which I have booked direct with Kermia Beach in August 2008, we are going full board this time.



I really can not wait to go back, we have made such good friends with staff out there, the only thing that ruined our holiday out there was Olympic Holidays messing our flight times about so much that we lost almost a day, so this time I have booked flights myself, if you are looking for a great holiday then this is the place to go, you can not go wrong.

Didn't know quite what to expect, as very few reviews could be found on this hotel.



We paid for a second row bungalow (first row were all booked up), so we wouldn't be too far from anything. The bungalow was basic but functional.



The air conditioning wasn't working properly in the bedroom and it took three complaints and visits from the maintenance men until they finally fixed it (some poor man on the roof in the midday sun to change the motor)!



The pool was very nice, but shelves quite steeply and is then deep all the way round. There is a very shallow kids pool. Never a problem getting a sun bed in the height of the season though. The Cypriots all pile in at the weekends.



The beach was OK, but quite sea-weedy. The sand not as white and the sea more rocky then at Nissi or Makronosis.



The breakfast was adequate, the usual buffet style that you get. The pool bar/snack bar was quite good for lunches. There was some quite nice evening themed buffets, but could be lacking in vegetables.



The kids club was quite good, with a potters wheel at the pool side occasionally and other activities. This was quite useful when my youngest caught impetigo on her toe and couldn’t go in the pool (where I suspect she caught it from)!



Drinks ice-creams etc were quite pricey, and the biggest problem is the location. You could walk to Ayia Napa on the coastal path (brisk walk is approx 45 mins) other than that, it was a taxi ride to anywhere outside the hotel.



Overall, accommodation is probably 3* Not a bad holiday all in all - Would I go back? Unlikely- been to better hotels in Cyprus.

We were apprehensive about this holiday because we went to Cyprus the year before and were disappointed with our accommodation.



Although this time it was quite the opposite. We were taken to our bungalow by buggy and were delighted to find clean, kid friendly airy surroundings, as well as a free basket of fruit and bottle of wine.



The staff were very friendly and obliging.

Food was delicious and not too expensive.



Pool area was beautiful and just down a few steps to a gorgeous private beach.

We liked it so much we are going again this year with our friends! Cant wait!
