The most amazing and friendly atmosphere from the moment stepped out of the cab.



We were both very ill from some dodgy fish eaten in Bangkok but the entire bar and restaurant staff were so lovely and helpful trying to advise on the best things to eat and drink to aid recovery! Safe to say after feeling better, loved the fact that it was right on the beach. Pool was cleaned every morning. Breakfast was tasty and had enough variety even for my sensitive palate!



Rooms cleaned daily and were so cool due to aircon, which made a nice change from the outside.



Couldn't have asked for better service or friendlier staff. Amazing food, go there, if I ever get to return to Koh Samui then I will!



Also, located at Lamai, had plenty of bars and eateries but a lot less commercialised than Chaweng beach, a definite bonus!

The Sea Sand is fantastic - we've been twice now - the staff are lovely and even remembered us on our 2nd visit. They go out of their way to get to know you and do anything that helps.



The track down to the resort is fairly isolated but we never felt in any danger. The hotel is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Lamai but close enough to walk to the main parts.



The food at the hotel is really cheap and delicious and the rooms are cleaned daily - even if you stay in bed until 2! The rooms are lovely and I can highly recommend the newly built rooms inside the building - they have private Jacuzzi’s and four poster beds.



The pool is clean and the sun beds were readily available.



I can highly recommend Sand Sea and I would be happy to go back any time!
