As promised I will give my verdict on returning to Anesis Hotel. The hotel is just as fantastic if not better than it was in 1994. We as a family had an excellent stay. We stayed Bed and Breakfast, our room was clean, the hotel was clean and the pool area was spectacular. My daughter who is 4 and a half absolutly loved the pool and play area, she was playing in the pool and on the play area with all the little friends she met all day every day we were at the pool.
I will definitely be going back next year to Anesis. Perfect base for us. the only down side to Anesis is the lack of entertainment and maybe atmosphere round the bar area in the evening, but apart from that everything was hunky dory.

We Stayed in the Anesis in 1994 and we loved it then. We were two couples and we had fantastic rooms and the staff and food etc were excellent. We are now going back in August 2008 and are a family (our daughter is 4) we have been coming to Cyprus for 14 years now and this is first time back at the Anesis since renovation, we popped in last year to look round and decided to book for this year. The comments we have read are what we expected that it is still a great place to stay.
We are so looking forward to it can't wait now.
As people say it is central but not noisy and the pool area is brilliant.
Will comment on my return to see if everything is as good as it was, I know Ayia Napa will be

Stayed for last 2 weeks of October and had a very enjoyable holiday with fantastic weather. The Anesis Hotel is very clean, smart, friendly and well run, with a very good pool area that would not look out of place in a 4 star hotel.
Its position is excellent, just five minutes from harbour and beach and about the same distance to the heart of Ayia Napa.
The big let down was the food, although the breakfast was pretty good, with plenty of choice (although after 2 weeks a little repetitive); it was the evening buffet style meal that was so hit and miss. Some nights very nice and other nights very poor - this was also a view shared by other guests.
I would strongly recommend booking on a bed and breakfast basis. The choice of places to eat out is vast and the food generally good standard and reasonably priced.

Not a bad word to say. A lovely hotel, great pool, maid service everyday. The location really suited us as it was a short walk to the square and surrounded by many restaurants and bars. Also very near to the fishing harbour with great fish restaurants. It is the other end of Nissi beach but we just got a taxi there. All staff were friendly and helpful as well as the first choice reps the breakfast catered for everyone really with a choice of cereals, english breakfast etc. On the last night we paid to eat at the hotel which was a three course meal for 6cyp and the food was lovely. Had we have tried the food before we would have eaten there more often.

What can I say? We visited this hotel two years ago while celebrating a friend’s wedding and really enjoyed it, so we decided to use it this year when we got married.
What a transformation. From a small, lovely, but basic hotel we found a beautiful new pool and sun area. There was however no drop in service or customer care.
The staff are all lovely from the manager to the cleaners and they made our wedding so special. We had our reception at Garden of Eden restaurant which comes highly recommended and returned to the hotel in the early evening. When we arrived they had done us a lovely champagne reception and even opened the pool for us to use.
Throughout our stay the hotel staff couldn’t do enough to make sure our day went smoothly. There were 37 people in our party and not one complaint.
If you are looking for a hotel which ticks all the boxes this is the one for you.

Myself and three friends have recently some back from staying in the Anesis Apartments, Ayia Napa, and had a brilliant time. This hotel is suitable for both the young & lively and families because of its quiet location only 5mins walk away from the hubbub of the town.
The hotel was so much more then we’d expected; the rooms were spacious and very clean and the pool was just fantastic. The staff were also really helpful... We would definitely come back!

I went to Ayia Napa with my friend Sarah at first we were put into the Tsokkos apts which were all I can say a heap of ****. We didn't even put our cases in the room so we moved down the road to the Anesis.
The hotel manager was lovely he was so helpful and kind. I would consider going back there year after year.
It was just a short walk from the square and McDonalds lol! I really enjoyed it so much. I also see that it has been renovated and it looks lovely not that it need it like.
Basically I love it!!!
