WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE.
I CAME FROM UK IN AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2008 WITH MY WIFE AND 2 KIDS, 3 AND 5.
THE HOTEL IS REALLY FANTASTIC. I CAN CATEGORICALLY SAY THAT YOU WANT FOR NOTHING IN THIS HOTEL.
FOOD CHOICE IS SUPERB, AND THE QUALITY IS EXCELLENT. THERE REALLY IS NO NEED TO GO TO THE A LA CARTE RESTAURANTS, BUT THE JAPANESE AND GRILL BAR ARE PARTICULARLY GOOD
ROOMS WERE EXCELLENT WITH A/C JACUZZI BATH, AND FREE MINI BAR STOCKED EVERY DAY.
IF YOU ARE INTO BEACH HOLIDAYS, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BEACHES I HAVE BEEN ON, AND I HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL EXOTIC PLACES INCLUDING OMAN, SEYCHELLES, AND PHILLIPINES BORACAY, AND THIS IS AS GOOD AS ANY OF THOSE. THE SAND IS CLEANED EVERY DAY AND THE FREE WATER SPORTS INCLUDE CANOES, PEDAL BOATS, MINI CATAMARANS AND SNORKELLING
WE SPENT MOST OF THE TIME BY THE POOL AND AT THE SWIM UP BARS(IN ALL THE POOLS), WHERE THE BARMEN ARE VERY GENEROUS WITH THE SPIRITS.
WE WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO OUT THERE
YOU REALLY WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE AS A HOLIDAY DESTINATION
First of all you get a great...

First of all you get a great welcome here. Lovely people. The food was great, lots of restaurants to choose from. If you tell reception you have been here before they instantly upgrade you. lots of perks with that like the free safe in your room saves you around £35, you get to eat in all the restaurants as many times as you like instead of the once a week effort.
Sadly we were in the tropical storm that hit the Dominican and so the weather was only okay for about 5 days and then the rain came and didn't stop. It was really windy too(obviously). It didn't stop us from using the pool though.
There was no entertainment put on for us while it constantly rained. Most of the excursions were outdoor so basically there was nothing to do, no sun, no fun. I was very very very bored. Saying that though you don't come here for the entertainment you come here for the rest so really it wasn't that bad. The hotel was perfect and so were the people here.
The upgraded flight(FIRST CHOICE) which cost me roughly £300 extra per family member was a complete waste of money. People were allowed to cut through our row to get to the toilet which was a pain in the neck as someone would ask us to move every five minutes(no joke). The flight attendants did absolutely nothing about it. I will never fly with first choice again, a complete waste of money. That's why I’ve only given 7 out of 10 for the overall holiday because first choice are about as good as a chocolate fireguard, useless.
The rep there was rubbish to say the least and was no help to anyone.
If you are considering this hotel then definitely go as it's amazing but try and go with a company that will take care of you when you're out there.

This summer I visited the Bahia Principe Punta Cana Hotel in the Dominican Republic and had an amazing holiday! This hotel is pure luxury. There is something for everyone... whether you are into watersports or simply relaxing by the pool you will not be disappointed.
The beach is out of this world and the sand is pure white. There are a number of restaurants to choose from all of which come highly recommended by myself. I just cannot praise the staff up enough, nothing is too much trouble.
I went with my partner but there were a number of families there and they were definitely well catered for. There is so much to do... tennis, spa, snorkelling, golf, cycling, shopping, etc.
You will definitely not be bored and of course not forgetting the fantastic pools and even better pool bars!
One tip is trying and get a sunlounger early in the morning because they all tend to disappear rather quickly!
I am currently booking to go back next year and I can't wait!
