The Bailey's is a nice small hotel.
The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated. We stayed in 604 which is on the top floor, and the only downside was that it did not have a bath in the bathroom like other rooms, and there was a generator on balcony outside, this may be a problem in summer months but was no real problem with window closed.
The bathroom was marble and nice, the toiletries were very good, and the towels were nice and white. They also provide towelling robes. The one gripe is that the hairdryer is inadequate.
The breakfast was ok. Usual cereal, cold meats, cakes, pastries, yoghurt and juices etc. The staff were very friendly; the porter taking someone new to their room knew which room we were in by sight even though we had taken our own bags.
The staff speak English. The bar is very small and you need to ask at reception for someone to get you a drink but this is no problem. There are several restaurants in the Via Flavia. Also Termini station is about a 10/15 minute walk away, and the Trevi fountain, St. Maria Maggiore, are within walking distance, as are the Spanish steps.
All in all a pleasant hotel, not sure whether would rate it 4* as no real facilities, but would recommend for a short break.
