Welcolme To Bedrock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from ILOVEMANZARA
This is a very interesting hotel, there is a mock flintstones style to the enterance and reception. We arrived at 6am after a night flight to be greated by T rex and co who were garding the gates!! My partner double checked with me that I had booked this place!! to be fair T rex and co looked even better at night with their mouths lit up like blackpool hallucinations!! but you always knew you had got the right hotel after a few drinks. Other parts of the hotel on the outside were quite traditional looking and sweet. There are beautiful gardens and lush vines and fruit trees everywhere. The view over the bay is breath taking, unlike the rooms! The bathroom smelt better after a muck out and then the boat would come in to port with all fog horns blazing after the toilet had been flushed (this is what it sounded like when flushed!). Car boot styled furniture (circa 1950's) complemented the most basic bed in the world. Dont turn on the bedside lights as the bulbs are unshaded and you might end up with arc eye! Also best with limited light as it looks better in dim light. The bar and pool area was basic and the prices were expensive, we only had one drink during our stay and did not even have the delights of breakfast. The music was loud and we were woken up to Wigfield (Saturday night!!) on a Monday morning!!! We were lucky to have only a 3 night stay and it was like a prisoner of war camp. The bar staff were lounge lizzards, the women just very miserable and unfriendly. Olu Deniz was nice so we spent as much time there as possible. Turkeys answer to Royston Vasey!!!!!!!!!!
worst hotel we have stayed in after 5 visits to turkey
from mcox1959
we have been to turkey many times and in the same area, and i can honestly say this was a hotel to forget.the rooms were small ,the beds were very hard and you only got a blanket for cover no sheet.the bar staff were very lazy and they seemed to be more intrested in there laptops than anything else, and the music was played very loud ,they played this for themselves not the customers its no wonder everybody left the hotel after breakfeast ,and same again at night there was no atmosphere at all,the breakfeast was very basic and left uncovered for the flies ,and it is the first hotel where you did not get orange juice you had to pay for this. overhaul it was very poor which was a shame as the view down on to the bay was outstanding.
A brilliant experience at the Manzara Hotel, Olu Deniz, Fethiye
from Europeglobetrotting
Having recently returned from our holiday staying a the Manzara Hotel, Olu Deniz, Fethiye there was one thing without question a definite return visit in the future. The hotel had almost a family feel to it. The staff worked extremely hard as a team together and were exceptionally professional, very helpful and friendly. The hotel rooms were basic but very clean, set in gardens where restaurant produce was grown. Situated on the mountain side overlooking the Olu Deniz bay - one could be almost anywhere in the world! The restaurant food was impeccable both in taste and presentation. An evening meal was an evening of culinary delight on the open terrace with waiters on-hand to pay attention to detail. Clientle mainly English/Scottish & Irish. The bar staff worked hard to ensure good friendly relationships with guests - nothing was to much trouble and the team were certainly very entertaining. A number of other guests we met were either on a return visit or vowed to make a return trip in the future. Good sunbathing terrace and good sized outdoor pool. Close to Olu Deniz /Blue lagoon beach. Good variety of trips on offer and paragliding is very popular. A no hassle resort - a perfect way to a relaxing holiday.
Manzaraaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggggggggaaaaaaahhhh!!!

This has got to be the worst Hotel I have every stayed in!!! First I booked a double room and was given a very small twin room, it had bars on the door and was situated on the ground floor of what resembled a prison block! When a reported this to the very sleepy and miserable front desk I was told that all the double suites were occupied by Turkish guest and would have to wait until the next day. I eventually got moved same day to a suite which was not much better than the twin room, just a double bed and a smelly wardrobe. I was made to pay £28 english pounds for the remote control to use the aircon. The bar staff around the pool were very over friendly with the ladies. Although they were smiling to the customers faces, I caught them mocking guests once they had walked away from the bar. The beakfast area was swamped with flies and the food left uncovered. The price of soft drinks was 3 times what you would pay in the town and sometimes more expensive than the UK. The muslim family that work around the hotel are very miserable and even though I tried smiling at the ladies they just gave me a look of disgust. I thought this was a great way of making your paying guest feel welcome. The Dinosaurs at the enterance of the hotel look like they got a job lot off Del Boy! Walking to the town/beach is not advised unless you have a death wish, very steep and high possiblilty of being run over from a speeding vehicle, you do have to cross the road to get the dolmus going to the town/beach but it's not too bad. Olu Deniz is a beautiful place and I am so glad that on my second day we found the Oyster Residence Hotel. We immediatley booked out of the Manzara, to the complete bewilderment of the front desk. If you want to stay somewhere beautiful, with room service and opulent settings see my review for the Oyster Residence Hotel. p.s. the web site for the Manzar needs updating as they say they have direct dial, the truth is they don't even have facilities to call the UK! Very Poor! Miss S Donnachie Manchester
Loved it!

The manzara is such a nice little hotel set in a perfect location. The views and the gardens are beautiful and the staff are amazing. It's set in the moutains just 1km away from Oludeniz, which is easy and cheap to get to by frequent buses or taxis. Although the rooms are basic they are kept clean and the setting and grounds make up for it. The pool area is really pretty with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and a bar next to the pool. All of the staff and very friendly and helpful, but it was the bar staff that made my stay so enjoyable. Yasin and Yusuf are like a double act - they're so funny and create a brilliant atmosphere around the pool. They love to get everyone involved and love to be friends with everyone, they play great music and make the best drinks (in really interesting ways)! They're is so much to do in and around the area and the people are so friendly - i had one of the best holidays I've ever had....we just got back this morning and my friend and I are already planning our next trip!
Really Liked it!!

This was a wonderful holiday, the people were really friendly and helpful. The pool and bar area was very comftable. The views were amazing!! Our room seemed to have the biggest balcony over looking Olu Deniz, which was lovely!! The rooms were basic but thats what you expect from a 3* hotel in turkey! The rooms were cleaned everyday, and the sheets about 3 times a week! The hotel was a bit far away from Olu Deniz itself but you can get a taxi just outside the hotel which are cheap and come frequently, so not a probelm at all! The bbq at the bar on a saturday night was really nice and entertaining, and also good value for money! Olu Deniz itself is really nice, not to lively but not to quietm great places to eat and very reasonable. This holiday was really good, we were a young couple and this suited all our needs! Would definatly think about going back next year!! Thanks for a wonderful holiday Manzara!!!!
i loved it

A True Review- Limbo central, but bar staff are like Butlin's redcoats on speed!

THE HOTEL: We have stayed around Olu Deniz several times, this being the first at the Manzara. The hotel is situated in the hill of the hill leading from the beach to Hisaronu, so you’re kind of in limbo if you suddenly need cigarettes of something from the shop. Although the walk to the beach is fairly easy and take about 15/20 mins, the walk is a lot harder (depending on your fitness or if you have kids) but the buses are frequent and the views are fantastic. The hotel is also surrounded by grape vines, apples trees, pepper plants, lime trees and beautiful flowers. A little garden of Eden. ROOMS: The rooms are obviously basic because you get what you pay for. But the downsides were that the toilet smelt-but nothing a bottle of bleach didn't sort out. The room seemed to be cleaned every other day so don't expect too much. But there is a hairdryer, TV (mostly Turkish channels but you get BBC World News and Euro News). You have to pay extra for the Air Con, I think £15 a night someone said! Which is expensive and because their not used that much when you first use them there's a lot of dust. But if like us you don't want to pay the extra charge, then do what we did and keep your curtain closed and open the window at night, which has a mosquito net. POOL: The poolside is kept clean and has a beautiful view of the sea and surroundings mountains. Whenever you get hot sunbathing the pool is so inviting and will cool your down no worries. There's a little kiddies pool with a waterfall, that is great from adults too. it's not very deep but it's big enough. THE BAR STAFF: FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY!!! GREAT FUN!!! Need I say more! Yusuf (Orlando Bloom look-alike) is the best. He had all the kids and adults playing games in the pool together and kept the kids busy and safe when the adults could sit and chat or sunbath. He entertained everyone by getting all the kids there to push the adults into the pool. Which in turn lead to all the adults getting to know one another and from that we have made some friends for life who we have already been in contact with since coming back. Water fights and ice water throwing were a regular thing, as well as water polo (volleyball) which was always a laugh. Although I can't remember everyone's name, they were all fun, friendly and joked around. Their English is good and they seemed more helpful and understanding then the few that worked the reception area. The music is repeated a lot but it became a running joke with everyone. They make the hotel and we would go back just to have some fun with them again. YUSUF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOOD/ DRINK/ NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT: The food and drink at the hotel, like any hotel, is a little bit more expensive than your normal shop. But the menu is good, English and Turkish food. And there is a good cocktail menu. Every Saturday night there is a open BBQ and Belly dance show (she gets all men, women and kids up to dance), there's also a fire eater and lots of party games for the adults. All for a price of £10 (drinks separate) It's a great laugh and there's even a fireworks show at the end. SURROUNDING AREA ADVICE: Olu Deniz beach is gorgeous. The Blue Lagoon is a natural park so you have to pay about £1 to get in. When you're there the sun beds and umbrellas are 5YLT each (about £2.00)- WHICH IS THE SAME PRICE AS ON THE NORMAL BEACH EVEN THOUGH YOUR REP WILL TELL YOU THE NORMAL BEACH IS CHEAPER. The Blue Lagoon food prices are more expensive, but totally worth going there because the scenery is breathtaking. At the normal beach it's easier to pop to a shop and get a cheaper bottle of water or food- but the sea is more wavy and choppy. Down in Olu Deniz the top restaurants to go to for great food and at a good price- Joseph’s and The Help Bar. Great service, big portions and makes for a great evening all round. CONCLUSION: The Hotel is basic and you are stuck in limbo. But a holiday is what you make it. And the bar staff at the Manzara certainly make the days and nights fun if you're there. Bad points- the toilets (buy some bleach) and if you want clean towels then go and get some from reception and don't worry if they don't smile (I think their jealous of everyone having fun at the pool). I would make a suggestion to the hotel, that they drop their prices a little on the food and it would be worth them having a little shop there for things like cigarettes, camera film/ batteries and it would make the stay a little easier- espeically for those with kids. Also it wouldn't hurt to throw in the Air Con for free and the use of a fridge in the room and to give the toilets a good clean EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!
hotel Manzara - Ring my bell, ring my bell!!!!!!!

What can i say, went to Turkey for the first time and was surprised as to how good it was, although very hot. We were staying at the Manzara Hotel and were told that it was up the hill out of walking distance to Olu Deniz. It was a 5-10 minute walk down the hill but would advise getting a Dolmus back up or as we were lazy (as your supposed to be on holiday)we got a dolmus down to Olu Deniz. The hotel rooms as commented by others are very basic but on a positive side they are very clean and cleaned regularly. The only downfall is that the rooms could of done with a fridge (somewhere to store cold drinks). The bar and poolside were excellent. There was plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas to get in the shade. It was always a fun atmosphere due to the bar staff. Always had a good laugh with them. Overall the Hotel would have got 5 out of 5 if it wasn't for the rooms being very basic. I am seriously thinking about going back to the same hotel again next year and would definetly recommend it to anyone.
Can't wait to go back!

I would recommend the Manzara hotel in Oludeniz as an excellent place to stay. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the food is nice. The rooms are clean and there are really pretty gardens surrounding the rooms. The Manzara is in a great setting up in the hills and has gorgeous views of the bay. To get to the beach you need to take a bus but the journey down to the beach is about 2 mins and the buses are really frequent. There are also lots of taxi's. Olu deniz is a beautiful resort - you must do cocktails on the beach at sunset!
Well where do i start, we arrived at 6 am only to be woken at 10am by two phonecalls from reception who deemed it urgent enough to wake us after 4 hours sleep as they had an arrival pack and wanted our passport details. After getting up with little sleep the first morning i... more
