Ramada Encore

The Ramada Encore is a typical McDonalds-sort of hotel, OK to spend the night in with a comfy bed but not much more.
The staff are adequately pleasant, especially as they have to cope with the vast number of Stag & Hen parties that trail through Letterkenny's streets at weekends. The bar area is pretty good and stays open way past bedtime, and there is internet access in the rooms which is good.
The Hotel is just on the edge of the city centre within easy walking distance of a number of good pubs & restaurants - all of which become pretty lively as the evening progresses.
I had B&B, but the breakfast wasn't all that good. The egg was very congealed, the sausage was half raw, and the bacon was covered in grease. That was a shame as it left a bad feeling about the place as I was leaving.
If you're planning to stay, I would recommend having a breaky in one of the local pubs or restaurants rather than at the hotel.
