Not bad for the price
As with most places there are good points and bad points. The rooms are very spacious and clean, our room had 2 very large beds and ample wardrobe space. Rooms also have a small fridge and bathrooms have a built in hairdryer. Most rooms have a balcony overlooking the pool. Water pressure for the shower was very variable dependant on what time of day you used it. There are 2 swimming pools, we only visited the large pool on our visit. Very nice looking pool with a swim up bar and a waterfall. The bottom of the pool is painted... more
Good hotel except for the bar
The rooms all have air con and are a good size, they are cleaned every day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The 2 pools are very good and about the right size for the hotel. The food is all buffet style and after 2 weeks starts to get boring. The bar is in reception and can be quite hot, and they never have enough glasses so they use plastic cups, it makes it feel like going to a childrens party. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes from the beach and town but is on a slight hill, In UK tempratures it would be ok but in 44 degrees... more
it was ok
I stayed at the hotel the weather was hot the pool was ok could do with the floor being painted, friendly staff lovel room cleaners, all inclusive finished at 11pm reception area was awful, food was ok done theme nights, waiters dont like you ordering more than 2drinks at a time, entertainment could have been a bit better, good animation team. the rosetta next door looked lovely. i would return to egypt but not this hotel was very plain.
Really enjoyed it :o)
Good points about the hotel: great loacation 10 mins walk from naama bay food was pretty good, lots to choose from (im very picky) 2 swimming pools, livley one and a quieter one the staff are helpful & friendly rooms were tidied everyday swiming pool bar serving rum, gin, vodka, ouzo, brandy, larger beer, 7up, pepsi, orangeade towel hire cleo waterpark is walking distance from hotel fridge in rooms you make friends with other people really easy everyones friendly lots of small birds around (... more
Fine, very friendly staff
I had been worried about our trip, having read some of the reviews on this website which are very negative about this hotel. However, I had no need to be. I think the important thing to realise is that it isn't a 5 star hotel so if you compare it to one, it won't do too well! I think if you want a hotel where you're just going to spend all your time there, not leaving the pool and eating there all the time it could be quite tedious. But if you intend to go to the beach, or have drinks in town or anything then it's absolutely fine. There... more
it was just ok
Hi, my husband and i are just back from 2wks at the tropicanna jasmine, bit dissapointed really , it was a special birthday present to my hubbie, and thought as a goodwill gesture the hotel wouldve made a effort with a bottle of wine on that day, however we made friends with 4 other couples from scotland at our hotel and thats what made our hol enjoyable,we met on the first nite and continued during our time there , oh not forgetting an english couple too who joined us in the evenings, we all got on well.I loved the pool area at the... more
My wonderful holiday in Sharm el Sheik
Have just retuned from Sharm el Sheik travelled independently and stayed all inclusive at the Jasmine Club .Good hotel and location very friendly staff very clean hotel food could have been betterand entertainment was poor.I was lucky to meet an english guy who has been living there for the past year and is doing some freelance guiding having been a holiday rep for many years.I would highly reccomend his services to anyone who want to do their own thing he will arrange any excursion and tailor make anything required a godsend to lone... more
wouldn't go back but ok...
We booked a lastminute holiday to this hotel. Arrived - Room absolutely fine and clean - balcony overlooking greens. Food - you have to get up before 10am if you want breakfast otherwise it's pizza and chips from the pool bar. the first meal I struggled to find anything I could eat (I'm not a fussy eater by any means) and lived on salad and chips for the rest of the week - except for the night you are allowed in the onsite itailian which was much better. the resturant staff were mostly quite rude and it usually took them until you... more
fantastic and relaxing hotel value for money
I went to this hotel march 23rd with 3 scottish friends, we were very wary after reading the few reviews that had been posted, we had the best holiday food was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful, always looking after your every whin, the animation team were great and we joined in their activities every day, rooms were clean and done every day, the location of the hotel was good and 5 minutes walk from the hotel and in to nahma bay, you only get hassle in nahma if you allow it, only one moan the price of drink in nahma is very... more
Great holiday
Spent 2 weeks at the Jasmine hotel in March/April. The people are frendly, the rooms are clean, the food is mostly rice, chips, pasta, chicken. Lots of dessert. Bread is white bread, not enough energi bread for Norwegian people :). Lots of salads (witch we didn't eat because salad may cause stommace problems). Chef makes fresh omelette every morning, and fresh pasta every night. Small glasses, and sometimes they bring you the drinks almost after finished eating. And they take away the plates and glasses before you are finished. So... more
