a realy 4 star hotel?
from andrasbudapest
I was there with my wife and 2 kids. The location is good, the sea is in walking distance, the pool and the childrens pool is O.K. The room was so small, with the 2 cribs, that there was no space to sit down or play with the kids. The furniture and the Hotels enterior is like 15 years old, the bed was a horror, after 2 night we had killer backpain, we had to take painkillers. The staff is unprofessional, not knowing what and how to do, maybe they were students on holiday jobs. Room cleaning without vacuuming is intresting, we had sand in our ears in the bed. Food was O.K. but the music in the restaurant... morning laud Queen or Guns and Roses and it was not taking me down to the Paradise City, evening the same, during the day buy the pool the same mix CD every day. So, the hotel has got the quality of a 2 star hotel
Fantastic in every way

We returned from Cyprus last night with regrets we did not book this hotel for longer, It had everything you needed for a perfect holiday. We stayed all inclusive and could not fault the food at all especially as 3 of our party are vegetarians and did not struggle for variety. the cocktails" had us at hello" haha and the staff were so responsive and friendly nothing was too much for them it really was a pleasure to have stayed there. the room itself was clean and tidy, maid service was daily. my only and I say ONLY gripe is that with 2 teenagers and two adults in a 4 bedded room it could get a little cramped or fighting for the shower but lets be fair we only sleep in there don't we? the pool area was immaculate with a large amount of sunbeds so we didn't have to fight to soak up the sun and if we got bored of the pool the beach was only about 30 seconds away and we loved the beautiful sandy cove. There was entertainment everyday the animation team went above and beyond to keep the kids amused from killer pool and darts to fun games in the pool, the evening entertainment was great too something different every night. I could rave on about this for another 1000 words but I hope that this info I have provided will make you want to experience this great hotel complex for yourselves, we have already booked to go back next yr. My final statement has to be the Scuba Diving, as a huge scuba enthusiast I was thrilled to find the hotel had a Padi dive school on site (and they take beginners too) so all in all the best holiday My family and i have experienced for a few years
Lovely hotel to suit everyone!

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday to the Pavlo Napa in Cyprus. Myself and my partner had a fantastic holiday. The Pavlo Napa offers something for everyone. On arrival at the hotel at 1am on a monday morning the receptionist greeted us with a smile and told us when breakfast was served, which was really important to us as we were starving! We were a little disappointed that all that could be offered to us was a bottle of water as the hotel bar was closed so we visited the Orange Grove bar directly opposite to have a refreshing beer and a bag of crisps! The rooms were lovely, very clean and spacious. They were cleaned everyday which was fab. Our room was in the building seperate to hotel which was fine, however our balcony was opposite the neighbouring bars of the Orange Grove and Karystos which had loud entertainment until 1ish every morning, which was okay for us, however could be a problem if you had little ones. The food was great there was a varity of different things to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner and if you missed any of these then you could always order a snack. The pool bar was great, look out for Jerry the bar man he just does not stop smiling! The Anamation team aka Peter and Paul work really hard both for the children and the adults! Water polo and water aerobics is good fun! However the childrens disco can become very tedious in the hotel bar every night at 9, so we would then escape to a bar over the road or take a visit into Ayia Napa's centre which was about a 20 mins brisk walk. All in all it was great. Food was good, rooms were clean and location was spot on for the beach, Ayia Napa's centre and the waterpark.
Would definitely go back!

My husband and I chose this hotel after seeing all of the excellent reviews on trip advisor, was a bit worried as had such high expectations thought that I might be disappointed but certainly wasn't!! The reception staff were lovely, really helpful and chatty. The rooms were perfectly adequate, people have said they're a bit basic but really don't know what more you want in a hotel room really, it was nice to have a bath in the room as well as a shower and to have your own balcony. I know this sort of defeats the whole holiday in the sun thing but as I'm not a sun worshipper there is a channel on the TV called LTV, it's fantastic, watched loads of films that I wouldn't normally have chosen to watch and they were all fab. The bar staff were great, appreciated tips as I suppose not many people take cash with them on an all inclusive, kept the drinks flowing and were really friendly. Met some fantastic people in the bar too which was nice.....and we won the quiz (not sure how that happened). The kids disco was particularly entertaining, they really need to increase their kids songs repetoire.....the hokey cokey followed by the fast food song followed by the music man etc etc. Must remember to send them another CD!! The food was great, in fact my husbands holiday timetable centred around the meals which was great as he's usually such a picky eater (maybe it's just my cooking!?) There was always a great choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner, lots of fruit and salads as well as hot food such as fish, grilled chicken, rice, pasta, wedges, veg, lamb etc etc. I didn't discover the ice cream until a couple of days before the end of the holiday which was fantastic, could have lived off that alone for the week! Strolled into Ayia Napa a couple of times for a bit of a change, nice walk there along the main road and then walked to the harbour and back along the beach. Also walked to Nissi beach which was gorgeous, brilliant for snorkelling. Yes you had to pay for the loungers on the beach but you did on all the beaches and it wsa only 2.10 euros a day per lounger. The loungers around the outdoor pool were free and there was lots of them although all taken up by about 10am so you need to be out of bed early! I thought this hotel was fab and would definitely go back, a couple that we met said that the Dome was nicer but was more expensive so I suppose it's all relative. Would definitely recommend it to all! have a great time!
Pavlo Napa - a superb family holiday hotel
from issynoho
We have just returned from a week AI at the Pavlo Napa, the rooms were exactly as you would expect although even with bunk beds added for the kids, it didn't seem too small. Possible could have done with some more drawer space thats all. Fantastic to have a fridge and hairdryer. The staff were all amazing from housekeeping and reception right through to the bar, restaurant and animation team who kept the kids amused with darts, pool and water polo on a daily basis. It was also lovely to find a hotel with an indoor pool as well as an outdoor one. The first day was a bit chilly but it certainly didn't stop the kids from enjoying time in the indoor pool, which as the weather improved could be had almost to yourself at times. The gym was never overcrowded either - for those that feel the need! The food was ALWAYS excellent, never had a problem finding something for everyone. Soups, salad, pasta, fish, meat and veggie options always available and of course chicken nuggets and chips! Taxi into Ayia Napa was 12 euro's for 8 of us (limo cab) and a leisurely stroll back to the hotel took about 45mins. This was a one off as we really didn't need to go that far as there are shops and restaurants right on the hotels doorstep. Now for the nitty gritty - the toilets - always were spotless even the ones for use by the pool, no worry about going in barefoot. Bit of a pain having to navigate stairs every time but there is a lift for the ones near reception. Kids loved the childrens playroom, table tennis, pooltables, arcade machines, and the computers in reception as well as an xbox available in reception as well. I would recommend this hotel without reservation, especially so early in the season as it was lively but not overrun.
Decent time at Pavlo Napa
from RDurik
Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Pavlo Napa. It's a good location and the staff were outstanding. The food was decent. The room was ok but the beds were very uncomfotrable. Unfortunately, the kids play area was shut down which was very disappointing as there's no other area suitable for small children to play in. The indoor pool looked kind of dirty so we didn't swim in it. Overall, it's a great value for money and we enjoyed our time.
Cant wait to go back!!!

nothing bad at all to say about this hotel and surroundings! me and my cousin who are 20 stayed just recently here for 1 week all inclusive it was wicked, we are definatly going to visit again in the future , the rooms was nice cleaned everyday by a maid, food was gorgous full english everyday! lunch and dinner had lots to choose from, with a waiter service which was good. the pool bar next to beach wasnt open as it was low season which was a let down, the bar inside was excellent they had carlsberg for all inclusive and the cocktails was out of this world ;) nightlife in ayia napa was just down the road about 15 min walk, and very lively with it being march, cant imagine how good it will be in the summer. especially with the animators on resort was a good laf! the beach was also on resort which was lovely which loungers but you had to pay to lie on them :( Also at this hotel english is widely spoken all the guests was english too so met loads of ppl overall cant wait to go again and soooo depressed that ive come home!!!! x ;)
Not one to go back to the same place again but would go back here!

My brother got married over in Cyprus in Oct 06. He stayed in the Nissi Beach and the rest of the family booked the Pavlo Napa, I could not fault the hotel in anyway, yes the room is a bit basic, but realistically, how long do you spend in your room when you are on holiday! The entertainment went on day and night and kids are always included, bearing in mind we went in October so you wouldn’t expect this then! The hotel is in a prime location, close to shops and beach etc and we found a wonderful little bar across the road called The Cockwell Inn, where we watched all the Liverpool Matches as the guy was a mad Liverpool supporter and married to a girl from Liverpool! The food was a variety every day even for my mum who is a vegetarian, she always had something to eat and the pool snack bar was excellent! The staff could not do enough to help you, and even bottled water was included in all inclusive which I haven’t come across before. The hotel was immaculate, our room was cleaned daily and the maids were around from morning until night! The gym, jacuzzi, sauna and indoor swimming pool were used by all our travelling party with no complaints and the staff here were always on hand to supply towels or help with any problems. My brother spent most of his time at our hotel and his wife stated that she would of preferred to of stayed at the same hotel as us as the Nissi Beach was nowhere near as good and their room was miles away from the main hotel and main road!
Brilliant

In August of this year my family and i vistied cyprus for the first time, we stayed at the Pavlo Napa Hotel it was brilliant. I couldn't of asked for a better family holiday it was amazing the hotel was clean and it was right on sandy bay beach. Nissi Beach is a short walk away, the food was lovely everything you could wish for. Plenty to do it dosent matter if your going with or without children. Request to be in the Main Hotel as the annex is backing on to Agia Napa Centre at night can get very noisy. Nothing to complain about it truly was a 10 out of 10 holiday!
Great family hotel
from Roma38
We stayed at the Pavlo Napa for a week all inclusive and loved it. The rooms were basic but clean and the staff were really great. Food was superb and non-stop, dining indoors and at the poolside. The pool was clean and there was a small private beach. 5 mins from Ayia Napa and about an hour from the airport. A really good family hotel in a good location. No complaints at all and would certainly recommend it. We believe they have made some alterations since our visit which will probably have made it even better.
