My stay at pavlo napa

we have just got back from 2 weeks at the Pavlo Napa Beach Hotel. 2 adults and a 5 and 1 year old. it situated right on the beach walked through the pool area onto sandy bay lovely little beach and nissi beach is 10 min walk away which is lovely beach and water
Rooms; we stayed in the annex part which is just across the road from the main entrance the rooms are clean and enough room to manuvore bearring in mind we had a travel cot and little bed as well as our two single beds pushed together. The room has a bath and shower above, hairdryer, tv, air con. no kettle. The maid service is excellent she came everyday
FOOD: we really enjoyed the food at pavlo napa the food was abit different every night at least 1 thing would be different, you had things such as chips, pasta, potatoes, beef stoganoff, rice, grilled chicken, pizza, fish finger, scampi, fish, chicken nuggets, pork or lamb chops also had a cavery night
The staff at the tiffany restrauny where the buffet is are so friendly! Our last couple of days tho it was getting really busy i realised that when i had to queue for my food and the staff was not on top of serving on 2nd lot of drinks
The dinner menu at The Pool Bar bit is ok not much to choose from really and they give you loads of chips with whatever you have they be chips with except pizza that comes on its own. the staff were again very friendly and helpful. The staff at the actually pool bat we didnt find them to be to friendly and sometime abit rude
ENTERTAINMENT
the entertainment is run by THE ANIMATION TEAM and when we was there it was Peter and Paul with Danny coming on board towards the end of our holiday after being the waitor for most of it! There had activities for adults such as darts, volleyball, pool and waterpolo around the pool bar. For kids darts, building sandcastles, colouring, pool, at night they had a kids disco and a movie so adults can play bingo and enjoy the live show which is usually singer a bit hit and miss with the singers im afraid. The animations are great with the try to encourge them to join in my child really enjoyed it he knows all the moves from the kids disco he is a pro.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at pavlo napa its rated a 4 star and i would say its a great 3 star hotel but i would go again if i went back to cyprus The staff our 4 star the staff made the holiday for us more than anything
CYPRUS Ayia Napa
I was expecting ayia napa to be much bigger than it actually was they is not much to do or explore all the shops are the same around the same price as well perfume is dear and cigs so NO duty free.
we booked an excrusion to larnca market and camel park 16 euro for adults 7 euros for kids PLEASE JUST DONT DO IT what a HUGE WASTE of money the market is small all its sells is mainly clothes, bracelet sunglasses, i went with all that in my suitcase. the camel park is poor all there is are camels a few donkeys and birds they charge you 9 euros for a camel ride 5 euros for a child if im going to a camel park i expect it to be free what has my 16 euro gone on straight into thomas cook pocket i can not believe they support this excrusion
ALSO BE AWARE OF BUGGIES SCOOTER AND BIKE HIRE
if it breaks in your care you have to pay to have it fix they dont care

Just returned from a weeks all inclusive stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were a bit apprehensive considering some of the reviews we read but could not fault the hotel at all, the food was excellent considering we have a very fussy son and he always found something to eat, the lunch menu was really good and cooked to order, there was always something to eat from the buffet at night. The drinks were well varied and it was good to have table service at night, there was a sign up for one drink per person but this was never applied as we could order two or three at a time, the staff worked really hard as you were never left without a drink. A big thanks to the entertainment staff, Peter, Paul and Tanya who done an excellent job all day and night, there was never a dull moment. The earliest we had to get up to get a sunbed was 7.45am. We stayed in the annexe and our room was big and the air con worked to a treat. Don't be put off by any bad reviews and go try it for yourselves, we had a great time and will be going back again. The hotel was really central and it is about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Ayai Napa. It is situated right on the beach in Sandy Cove bay and there is a pathway which takes you along to Nissi Beach.

Pavlo Napa hotel

We have just returned from 14 nights at this hotel and we are already looking to book again for next year.
The hotel is in a good position, a 20 minute walk to the centre of Ayia Napa. We stayed in the main hotel, there is also an annex which overlooks the main road, friends stayed there and there was no problem with noise etc.
The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean, maid service and fresh linen every day. Our room had a TV, hairdryer and mini fridge, which was ideal for keeping supplies of water! The room was also air conditioned.
The food in the hotel was second to none. Fresh and piping hot. Breakfast and dinner was buffet syle and served in the main restaurant. The beach restaurant served lunch, and snacks throughout the day. Plenty of ice cream for the kids (and adults!)
The bar staff were brilliant and worked flat out all day. Lovely cocktails!!!
The entertainment staff absolutely made this holiday. From 10am until midnight every day (excluding meal times) there was something going on for adults and children - water aerobics, darts, volleyball, pool, sandcastle building competions etc. Thank you Peter, Paul and Danny for looking after us so well!!!
I would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back!!!

2nd trip back to this hotel tried eleswhere last year and wanted to come home after first 5 days. Our 2 weeks flew by at the hotel every day abit different. Great location right on a small sandy bay great for kids in sea and sand castles. The rooms are basic very clean but who goes on holiday to stay in there room or watch TV. Maid service every day and clean towels. Food good I htink I only had chips twice and that was because they came with my lunch order. My Daughter age 6 had a wonderful time spent 1 hours every mornign in the kids club doing activites and then something in the afternoon. There was activitys for the children at night but she liked to sit in the bar an watch the singers or the other nightly shows that were on. Good selection of drinks and food. Great value for money and the animation team made our stay brilliant. Thank you Peter and Paul.

We've just returned from the Pavlo...
10 / 10
Aug 2008, Mrs D Harding

We've just returned from the Pavlo Napa hotel and I'm already looking to book for next year. This hotel is brilliant the food is first class the entertainment for the kids is great (We have 3 children and we hardly saw the eldest for 2 weeks) Peter Paul and Cassie of the animation team do a great job looking after the kids. Our room was alittle on the small side but wasn't to bothered as we only got ready to go out and sleep in it and it was always kept lovely and clean fresh bedding and towels every day. The choices of food are excellent. The food is always hot and it is not left sitting on the side to go dry and horrible. One night we had a full carvery, choices of every meat and veg going. This hotel is in just the right place if you are a family, we had a walk into Ayia Napa one night and it took us about 45 minutes so you are definately not in the heart of the night life. We stayed in the main hotel but there is annex which I think might be alittle noisy as it is across the road from a theme pub. All in all this hotel is definately worth a visit.

Cheaper alternative to go AI. Cyprus...
7 / 10
Aug 2008, Jo-anne J

Cheaper alternative to go AI. Cyprus is very expensive. Food was OK, always chips to eat.
There is only the beach restaurant to eat from on the afternoon, ALWAYS the same food, menu, soup and salad bar to choose from but very repeatitive. The main restaurant for breakfast and evening meal. Breakfast is the best meal of the day. We were originally placed in a noisy room on the roadside, opposite the pubs in the new separate part of the hotel. We arrived at 2am Mon, and could not change rooms at that time. We went in the morning, but were told that there were no rooms in the main hotel until Wed, so we just stayed in that room and were moved no bother on Wed. Entertainment is very naff, although speaking to parents in the hotel, said that the kids loved the kids club, but the disco looked rubbish for kids over 8 years old, very babyish.
Rooms have no hairdryer or kettle. The TV channels have a movie channel in English with Greek subtitles.
This hotel was OK, nice pool area, always sun beds and pool has a jacuzzi in it. There was water aerobics and water polo, the same time, the same thing every day. The pool bar is handy and the Jerry the bartender very nice. The beach at the bottom of the hotel is lovely, but you have to pay for the sun beds and umbrella's.
I don't think I would go back to this hotel or to Cyprus.
If you walk into Ayia Napa, about 30 minute walk, 8 euro in a taxi, there is a lovely Polynesian restaurant on the main street opposite burger king, upstairs.

nice friendly hotal, but i would only...

Apr 2008, Mrs A Clarke

nice friendly hotal, but i would only consider this as a good 3 star hotal (not 4)
food was good, and if you have kids they have the options of having chips at every meal.
kids entertainers (peter and paul) very good, and a little crazy, and the kids loved them.
unable to smoke in the hotal lobby or bar, they have a smoking tent out side the bar area.
rooms were clean, and comfortable.
pack lunches not really worth having unless you like cucumbers.
entertainment at night was good, qnd unlike any other all inclusive i have stayed at, you had to pay for your drinks after 12.00 (which are expensive).
so its best to order a few in just before 12.00.
indoor swimmimg pool very nice but not open on a sunday (why).
The laundry is tucked away behind the counter next to the indoor pool, one washing machine and one dryer for a large hotal. (not enough).
but all in all we had a good holiday and met some nice people. Would i go to this hotal again....... yes, i think i might

The hotel was overbooked when we...

Jan 2008, Ms A Duke

The hotel was overbooked when we arrived so we were moved to another hotel for 2 nights which was unfortunate, but when we returned to the Pavlonapa we were upgraded from Bed & Breakfast to all inclusive which saved us a lot of money! We were also upgraded to a sea view room which had a loveley balcony over looking the pool and beach.
The room was pleasant and clean, but fairly basic. The food was to a good standard-the bar snacks were better than the evening buffet which was fairly standard. The staff were all lovely, and extremely helpful.
The outside pool was clean and there were plenty of sun loungers, there is a decent sized kids pool and a nice waterfall in the adults pool. The indoor pool was fairly grotty but with the tempertures in Cyprus you don't really need to go there.
The hotel was quite far out from the centre of Aiya Napa-the walk into town was fine but the walk back seemed very long!!
Ask the barman to make you cocktails-you will get some pleasant and highlky alcoholic cocktails!!
All in all we enjoyed our stay here a lot and would go back!

What a fantastic holiday! This was...

Jan 2008, Mrs S Montgomery

What a fantastic holiday! This was our first visit to this hotel but not to Ayia Napa where we had previously holidayed at the Adams beach hotel for the past 5 years. I cannot fault the hotel or the staff who were attentive and courteous at all times. The animation team were fab and encouraged us to join in with the activities which were fun and family orientated.
The location was excellent and near enough to take a leisurely stroll to the centre however with the excellent food choices on offer and inclusive drinks I didn’t venture far. The karaoke bars opposite the hotel were also fun and entertaining if we fancied a change.
I holidayed with my husband and 8 year old daughter who both also thoroughly enjoyed it, we go back again in May 2008 and will be staying there with my grown up daughter and her husband and 2 other friends, all of whom have stayed at the Adams beach previously. I know they will enjoy this lovely, friendly, value for money hotel.
