Glastros Hotel

We have just come back from Mykonos, we stayed in the Glastros Hotel.
This Hotel is based on the worse S bends of the whole Island and the Traffic NEVER lets up for 1 Min, it is impossible to sleep, cars screeching, people shouting and singing on the scooters, the buses packed oh and every car, wagon, bus, truck, jeep and moped that comes around the s bends beep on the corners!
The Breakfast isn’t very good, 1 boiled egg 1 slice of hard bread and butter a pot of tea and a small slice of melon that’s it...every day.
The pool at the Marianna hotel is nice though we liked that, but the Glastros Hotel has flood lights outside and they are directed at the windows, so it’s like daylight in the room the whole time, so if ya can’t get to sleep with the noise of the road you certainly won’t with the light!
Olympic had us waiting 4 hours after being dropped off the coach for a room! With an 11 year old child none of us had slept since 9am the morning before, dropped off at 12:00pm daytime and still nowhere to stay at past 4pm!
No rep to take us to our room, then we finally got a room at the Glastros, if ya can call it a room.. tiny room with 3 beds in, couldn’t open the wardrobe, the patio doors, or the bedside cupboard!
We asked to be moved and the Olympic Rep said tomorrow you can be moved! We were moved the next day to a an apartment with 2 rooms in 1 of the rooms didn’t have air con...it was unbearable, the heat the noise, the whole Island.
Complaint being sent to Olympic tomorrow, see what they have to say about this....but remember, The Glastros Hotel is the worse situated hotel on the island, no pavement either so try and make it 200 yards to the shop if you dare...you were warned.
We were also told 25 meters to the beach...it’s a 20/30 min walk away or a 15 min wait for the most packed bus in the world, take your pick.
