The Plaza Palace in Anaxos is a great little hotel. Vassilis, Eleftheria and Vassilis parents' are friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. Large bedrooms and balconies, basic, but very clean and so reasonably priced. All rooms overlook pool/bar area. ... more

Our first time and thoughly enjoyed the whole holiday, the plaza palace has been reccommended to everybody in leeds (and has anaxos), never have we gone back to the same place but look out anaxos were on our way back, it was an absolutly fantastic place, its our turn to say... more

Excellent hotel, we stayed in the studios which were basic but spotless. cleaned every day & towels changed 3 times a week. The only criticism would be as we were self catering a few more basic utensils such as bottle opener/corkscrew & breadknife would have been preferred... more

The studios are about the cleanest and most well looked after that we've ever found in Greece. The girls came in to clean every single day. Really! The beds were comfortable & clean, the shower was spotless, and there was a screen, rather than a curtain. Luxury. The Hotel... more

loved the plaza palace from felixmaz
Just returned from the plaza palace where we had a fab time. We stayed in the studios which are set apart from the main hotel. The studios are a bit on the small side but they are spotless clean, the cleaners come in every day except sunday and the towels and bedding are changed three times a week. The place is run by Vasilis and his girlfriend Ellie who are great, they are really friendly and very helpful (Vasilis even let me sit on his Harley!) The food that is served at the pool bar is very good and excellent value for money - eg burger and chips + a drink for five euros. The pool is a good size with plenty of sunbeds (including some in the shade) and it is cleaned every day (Vasilis has a cool pool 'hoover' which the kids loved). Each Tuesday they have a barbeque night which is well worth a visit, they have greek dancers and live music and everyone gets a chance to get involved and try some greek dancing. Another place well worth a visit is the Aggelos taverna which is located at the end of the sea front just before Anaxos hill. The Aggelos is run by NIccos and Magda and the food is the best I have ever tasted, the service is also fantastic and it is not pricey. We will definetly go back to Anaxos and stay at the Plaza Palace, we had a great time there and Vasilis and Ellie made great hosts.
