My partner and myself have stayed at the Alexia 4 times now and we always thoroughly enjoy our 2-week annual holiday there. The location is ideal, 2 minutes from both beach and harbour yet in a quiet spot with a 10 minute walk from the square (the young peoples nightlife). There are dozens of restaurants and bars right on the doorstep too. We hired a car for 9 days and travelled all over the island (except the north side) but we prefer Ayia Napa to anywhere else. It is definitely not just for young people no matter what you have heard!! There is something for all ages, with no trouble and no crime. The staff at the Alexia are second to none, always helpful, polite and friendly. The rooms are basic but very clean with everything you need. The only reason I gave 9 out of 10 instead of 10 out of 10 is because the rooms are very hot and air conditioning cost 77 euros for 14 days but is available in the bedrooms only. We found it was too hot to cater for yourself in the apartment unless you ate in the bedroom! Other than that we cannot fault the Alexia Apartments and will definitely be returning.

The Alexia apartments were fantastic! they were at a quiet end of the resort, near the picturesque harbour and Grcian beach, but close enough to the nightlife to walk.

My boyfriend and I (24 & 27yrs) stayed for 2 weeks this August and couldn't have asked for anything more. They were safe, quiet, welcoming and comfortable.

These apartments are the perfect base for any holiday maker wishing to have a peaceful time in the day and yet a clubbers holiday at night. Literally only a 10 minute walk from everything alcohol related, but onlt 2 minutes from everything else.

Emilios is great, and I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

The apartments were great. Obviously not 5*, but for the price you pay they are comfortable and roomy. The only problems being the dated, but functional, bathroom and the cleanliness (but not too bad). The pool area is great, but although there are only 18 apartments other people do use it as it is open to the public. The two guys who run the hotel (Ameilas and his brother) were really great and helped out in what ever way they could. On the other hand, the rep was rubbish and made no attempt to speak to us, even though we missed our welcome meeting due to a 5 hour delay on the way out (delays are common at Larnaca airport).

Location is good, very close to the beach and about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the square, with several supermarkets close by.

Had a fab time and would return again if going to Ayia Napa.

For young people visiting ayia napa Alexia is perfect. Staff are very friendly and looked after us well. Food in pool bar was really nice, apartments clean and there's only a few of them so there was always plenty of space around the pool. Only 2 problems are that firstly only the bedrooms are air-conditioned and so if there are people sleeping in the main living area it gets extremely hot! Also I wouldn't advise families to stay as clubbers will be noisy at night and the early hours, however this applies to ayia napa generally.

Great location, quiet end of resort but still close enough to walk to the centre so no taxi costs. Lovely big pool, great 80's music playing by the pool and not many apartments so never any problems getting a sunbed.

Apartment’s fine. Clean enough, all had balcony and pool view. Did not really use apartment to cook in as ate out all the time. Would recommend Tony's Taverna opposite side to Incredible Universe store near McDonalds, excellent food.

I have just returned from a most relaxing break to the Alexia apartments. Everything was so well organised by Globespan. No delays, 1 hour transfer, no deposit to pay on arrival.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor with the pool directly outside the patio (great for nipping in and out) The apartment was spotless thanks to Madalena the housekeeper, plenty of all the essentials, crockery pots tea pot etc.

There is an iron and ironing board in each apartment, also an electric kettle toaster microwave. All have air conditioning at no extra charge.

Although small the pool was ideal for cooling off and the area was never crowded. There are only 10 apartments in the block so fairly quiet, no reception, although you have a contact at the Sis Pins hotel where you also pick up the key for the safes or for leaving luggage on check out day. (We had a taxi take us to the hotel on the last day provided by Globespan).

The position of the apartments I thought might be a bit difficult as my father has walking difficulties (he's 76). We walked into town every day and it only took 10 minutes and that was at a very slow pace! No problems at all as there are any hills and the pavements are excellent.

The is a large hypermarket just on the other side of the main road literally 3 minutes away, which sells just about everything you could need for a self catering holiday.

Puerto Pollensa is not a small resort as some would have you believe, it is actually larger than Palma Nova but much more relaxed and relaxing. There are so many restaurants and bars to choose from, please try the local ones not only for something different but you will also get much better value for money. The Irish Scottish and English bars we found to be a total rip off! 4euros for a neat brandy, 2.50 Euros for a half pint.

We found a gem of a place called Thai Rack on the road down from the apartments and the hospitality and prices were amazing. Definitely to be recommended, they also do food and accommodation. Lovely people, thank you so much.

Also in the town we had a few drinks in El Pozo which is a Chinese restaurant and separate bar, the lady who runs the bar is lovely, speaks very good English and again prices very reasonable.

In summation, we had a wonderful holiday in Puerto Pollensa and at the "Alexia apartments".

Myself and quite a few of my friends have been going the Alexia for 10 years, sometimes twice a year. Our ages range from 30ish-60ish.People have a perception that Ayia Napa is for teenagers, I can assure anyone who thinks that are way off base there is something there for all ages.

The Alexia is a friendly family owned and well run place, its clean and nothing is too much trouble for mum, dad, brothers Amelious and Demetrious.

The hotel is situated by the harbour and if you are young and want the clubs etc it is not to far from the square. How ever old you are this place is ideal for a very enjoyable holiday in very friendly and nice place.

This was a last minute booking for me, my wife and 2 daughters (10 and 11) through Olympic, half price from the week before so we weren't too sure what to expect.

After some initial confusion as to how many of us there were (no bedding or bed for one daughter) we soon settled in. The girls slept on a sofa bed and a camp bed and we had no complaints. The air-con cost £3 (Cy) a day and was well worth it, very efficient and very cold, the whole apartment was cool despite it being situated in the bedroom.

There was very little water pressure from the shower but it was hot, although to be fair, the green bathroom needed to be updated. There is a small safe in each apartment to rent for a small charge for the week. Through the patio doors was a small patio area and 3 steps more and you are onto the sun loungers and then into the pool, brilliant.

The pool was clean and warm and for most of the week we had it to ourselves despite being the half term break in the UK.

There is a good bar with a huge range of snacks and main meals all of which were well cooked with little wait, Happy Hour is from 1500 to 1800 with all cocktails being £1 (Cy).

The staff were always friendly and Paige our rep visited every day and played Pool with the girls, the Alexia Apartments were her favourite in the whole resort. The location is excellent, just 2 minutes to the beach, harbour, and main strip for the shops and restaurants.

All in all, we had a great week, the weather was excellent, and none of us wanted to come home. I can highly recommend the Alexia Apartments and we hope to be back next year.

Top Tips: Go to the Water Park, it cost £72 (UK) for the family, but we went twice during the week as it was so good.

If you are from Scotland and you exchange "Scottish Sterling" at any of the banks or shops, you will get a slightly poorer rate than if exchanging English money - much to my Wife's annoyance.

We spent another fantastic fortnight at the alexia. We've now stayed in five different places in Ayia Napa, and without a shadow of a doubt these apartments are far superior to any apartments in the same category. They're not for young clubbers but if you are after a relaxing well looked after holiday in what has got to be the best area of the town you will not be disappointed! 2mins to beach, 4 mins to harbour, 10 mins to town centre! It’s only my opinion but if you are not happy with the alexia you should have stayed at home!

Me and my mates went to Ayia Napa for a lads holiday this year but definitely went to the wrong apartments.

This place is definitely not for young adults looking to unwind as me and my friends found out when they kicked us out on the 2nd day!

They gave the reason of us being too rowdy and getting a lot of complaints about us, although nobody bothered to complain to us.

All in all Ayia Napa is an amazing holiday with one of the best nightlife’s I have ever experienced, but the Alexia Apartments is not somewhere I would recommend a young crowd to go.
