First trip to Cyprus and was not disappointed. The apartments where greatly situated. Nissi Beach, the centre of the town and harbour are all within walking distance.

Supermarkets, tourist shops, restaurants, and bars are all within a few minutes’ walk.

Great selection of restaurants... Mexican, Chinese, Greek, British... Prices are reasonable, quality is great.

The rooms are very basic but the staff are very helpful. Two big TV screens, pool tables, great looking pool. Rooms over look the ocean despite the fact that other sites say the views are inland. Pay a small fee for safety deposit boxes and air conditioning.

Would return!

I have visited Cyprus many times as I have family over there. This time I and my boyfriend decided to stay away from the family to have a holiday to ourselves. I chose Simos Magik as I had visited there before to use the pool and loved the setting, I was not disappointed.

The pool is lovely with a baby pool plus a large shallow end for children. The staff are all very friendly and help as much as possible, there are some language barriers as many of the staff don't speak great English but the manager herself speaks perfect English and always makes sure your queries are answered.

There is a pool bar which has two large screens, one indoor and one outdoor, staff are willing to change the channel on request (as long as not too many complain about your choice!!!). The food is mainly British with the odd Greek dish, it was nothing special but was not bad either.

The rooms are very basic but offer everything you need for a holiday, the kitchenette could have used a microwave however it was adequate for breakfast and lunch and we went out for dinner every night. The cleaners are in every day and sheets are changed at least once a week, fresh towels at least every other day.

The area itself is great especially if you want to be able to access Ayia Napa but not actually in amongst it all. There are many bars/restaurants on the strip nearby-many with entertainment every night. The hotel is also a 10 minute drive from the aqua park which is a must!

There is a lot to see on the island and as it is so small most places are accessible if you’re willing to hire a car and drive around-the troodos mountains are well worth a visit, especially on hot day as its cooler up there. The motorways are not that busy and they drive on the same side of the road so there's no need to be nervous about driving around the island.
