Hotel Class:
Ideally located just 150m from the centre of Soll and 600m from the Gondola. The Nursery slopes and ski school is only a 300m walk away. The ski bus stop is located close by (approx 150m). This hotel offers spacious and comfortable accommodation. Relax in the cosy lounge bar after a day on the slopes or marvel at the fantastic views of the mountains.

This holiday was booked as an allocation on arrival deal to Austria, the resort, and accommodation were a surprise!
The Schonblick was a pleasant surprise however, and our room was spacious with twin beds and a balcony (with sub zero temperatures, we didn't make full use of this!). However, there was a glorious view towards the slopes. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with plenty of room. There was however a problem with the temperature of the shower which tended to fluctuate.
Breakfast was mainly continental, with good coffee served by the very friendly lady who we think ran the accommodation.
The Schonblick was a short walk from the centre of Soll, with a fantastic selection of restaurants, most of them reasonably priced and delicious. Highly recommended is the Italian restaurant across the road from the Crystal Ski office. Great pizza!
We were also a short walk from the gondola station, making it ideally situated.
We booked snowboard lessons and snowboard hire through Crystal, which was an easy process. Our instructor, Lawrence, was fantastic - albeit a little impatient with the slow learners! The slopes were perfect for beginners, no button lifts here! The lift attendants were patient with us novice snowboarders, and slowed the lifts down when we came to jump off!
Crystal organised some great trips, one of which was a reindeer ride one evening.
WARNING - wrap up warm! As we were sitting still for quite some time, we really felt the cold! It was a great experience, although once is enough!
Various quiz nights and other events involving the night life on offer were also arranged. The Whisky Muhller (apologies for appalling spelling!) was a favourite, although not great if you are seeking to escape from the English masses.
I would go back to both the Schonblick and Soll, in a blink of an eye, and am already planning a trip in February!
