The rooms are however quite small. We had a Standard twin bed room. The room was smaller than the travel inn we had stayed in earlier in the week.
It was decorated in a good modern style, a large print over the beds of Stonehenge gave the room a nice feel.
The bed was very comfortable with duvet and a good supply of pillows. There was a large flat screen TV fixed to the wall and various interactive facilities including the internet were available through it. The internet was chargeable.
There was a small desk however I would not want to work in the room, as it was just too small to provide a pleasant working environment.
Hidden in the desk were tea/coffee making supplies including hot chocolate.
The bathroom was also very modern. No bath but a very good and decent sized walk in shower with a good pressure power shower with adjustable head. Toiletries were generic and smelt ok.
There was ample wardrobe space and an iron and ironing board in the room as well as hairdryer. The room also contained a safe which most laptops would fit into.
The room had poor noise insulation and we could hear the traffic from the busy A Road outside for most of the night.
The room has its own air conditioning unit which provided a nice cool breeze however was quite loud but was remote controlled.
The hotel staff on reception were friendly and most of the restaurant staff were friendly too however one member of staff at breakfast had a strop and said she wasn't coming in the next day as there was too much work to do.
The breakfast had a good selection in buffet style however the hot food was of poor quality and only warm not hot.
The restaurant is very expensive and the food quality not worth the cost, over £16 for a steak which you could have at the Harvester pub (Just refurbished) next door for about £5.
Car parking is free and there is very good access to the major road network.
The hotel is only about 3 miles or a 5 to 10 minute drive from Stonehenge and about 15 minutes into Salisbury (depending on traffic) there is a nearby park and ride site which I would suggest is used.
