This hotel was a dreadful experience. We had booked 3 rooms for 2 nights through the internet, where it looked very nice.
When arriving, the first impression was not only one of faded glory but also one of an enormous lack of hygiene. The white door in the reception area showed a large grey/black area around the doorknob. This kind of thing can easily be remedied with only a wet cloth and a cleaning product.
The carpet on the stairs was totally worn out. The 1st room had a bath tub of which the enamel was totally gone. The carpet in all the rooms was dirty and unhygienic. There was carpet in the bathroom which was dirty and looked as if it had been flooded. The windows were dirty.
We stayed out late the 1st evening in order to keep our stay at the hotel as short as possible.
In the morning, at breakfast, we wanted to drink some fruit juice but the glasses (all of them) were so dirty and greasy that even some of them stuck to the table when you wanted to take one.
So, after breakfast we hurried to check out, not wanting to stay a second day and we went looking for another place to stay which we were lucky to find.
