Where to begin. Upon arrival to flora Maria we was greeted with an 'outdoor forest' as the majority of the landscape of the building was covered by trees and bushes.



Inside the apartment where there is a bar area, there was never anyone behind the bar to serve us. Not to mention they’re hardly being anyone at reception for general help.



In terms of the cleanliness of the rooms- unacceptable. The towels were not clean and consisted of stains; the bed sheets too were unclean. Cutleries, which you would think were clean, had dried food stains on it.



The cleaners came when they pleased and did not do a good job at that. Instead of using washing up liquid to clean cutleries, they would simple rinse with water and place on the rack to dry- unacceptable.



The security of flora Maria was atrocious as anyone could gain access to the master key upon asking without any form of identification, which was able to open every room in the hotel. Money got stolen, not to mention other appliances.



Ants on bed sheets and cockroaches floating about became a norm in that apartment.



The pool area in which we share with neighbouring hotel had poor entertainment and no bar staff to be found.



On a whole I was totally let down and disappointed in staying in flora Maria and would not recommend it to anybody (except those who do not take pride in cleanliness) The only good thing was the location- couldnt wish for anywhere else, in the heart of the strip and a stone throw away from everything else.



The pictures of the actual apartment were very deceiving, and goes to show that one should not judge a book by its cover.
