What can i say about Takkas. It was the perfect place to stay if you enjoy raving into the early hours and having a place to crash, either alone or with a special lady friend. No one in the hotel who i met takes life too seriously and therefore everybody had more fun, great atmosphere around the pool as everybody there is there for the same experience. Decent food, a 24 hour shop attatched to the hotel, a bar at the pool always ready to serve. Takkas is literally a 2 minute walk from the main square, so it is a stumble back or if your not quite ready to go bed you can stumble up the road 30 seconds yto River Reggae!! 30 second walk to hire a quad which is a must, and right next door to that is ''jerk jerk'' unbelievable west indian food. 5 minute on the quad to Nissi and 5 minute walk to another more quiet beach. Takkas is a must for 'party atmosphere, place to crash, good pool, hot women'. Everything you could ask for. Going back june 28th 2011 and cant actually wait, 12 strong group of man ready for Napa! Also had air conditioning on all day every day and it only cost about 10 euros!!! x

hi i stayed here august 2010 with three other friends and we honestly thought it was ok don't get me wrong it is basic and there's ant's every were but you find the ant's all over napa the reason we thought it was ok is because the main strip is about 15 meters down the hill and we go on with every one else who stayed there.
were thinking about going there again this august

6 of us stayed here on the 15th july 2010 for 10 nights. When we got there it was around 2 in the morning, we went to the desk and give out pasports in and the receptionist told us how to get to our rooms. We were in 2 separate rooms one was spacious and overloooking the pool but the other one was across the road and was smaller and had views of other apartments. We couldnt get aircon the night we got there which made us struggle to sleep becauce of the clammy heat, however the next day we payed for our aircon which was around 10 euroes a day per room but becuase it was that hot we didnt think about the money. The staff did not show us how to use the aircon and so we had it on the lowest temprature which after 3 days gave us bad chests and coughs (next time we would get fans instead that you can hrie from the 24hour shop next door). There was a 24 hour shop next door to Takkas which sold everything, alcohol was realy cheap, WKD's were 1.65 and 2 litre bottle of vodka for around 19 euros.
Takkas pool was a livley and fun place, people from nearby hotels came for the party atmosphere, there were always drinking games barbaques, kareoke and pool partys for entertainment. You need to get there early tho to get a sunbed.
The food at the hotel was cheap but realy nice with loads to choose from, breakfast was 5.20 euros and was delicious. The drinks at the hotel bar were resonably priced and there was 2 happy hours each day one in the afternoon and one at night were any cocktails and 2.50, there are loads to choose from (about 50).
The maids were also fantastic, our room got cleaned everyday to perfection despite how messy and dirty it was, we got fresh towels and our bins emptyed to.
Nightlife was around 10 min walk away but with some bars on the way. Tommys pub was excellent, great atmosphere with kareoke, 5 litre cocktails to share for only 20 euroes and sheesha for 10 euroes we even dropped ours and they gave us a new one.
Cristiano beach was 10 min walk away and was a full but quite beach (better if you want to relax). Nissi beach however was about half hour walk but there is a bus straight there for 1 euro or a taxi for 2 euros each. However we hired quad bikes to get around the area on which were 40 euros each for 24hours (however you can haggle them down) but you need a drivers licence for 150cc plus bikes and provisions for 50cc bikes. Definatly recomend you get quads at elast once!
Takkas is a an exstremely clean and well kept hotel with excellent staff and friendly guests (we made friends easily)the atmosphere is great. If you want to go for a party holiday to ayia napa takkas is definatly the place the stay, amazing hotel, will definatly be staying there next year!

The hotel is beyond basic, from the moment we checked in we were under-whelmed. Me and my girlfriend stayed here sept2010 and would never recommend or return. The managment was so unhelpful it was bizzare, every thing he had to do seemed a chore and god forbid he had to do something directly for you, you felt as if you were putting him out or that you had wronged him. the room was furnished with 70's low end pieces, including the matresses( i dont think they had ever been changed and no doubt got sweated through every week) the shower was hot or cold whenever, and insects everywhere including cockroaches. the air-con was 15 euro per day! or 60 p/w far too much. the pool is Very Small and surounded by other buildings and the bar NEVER opened, Every entrance is left open 24 hours and people wander in off the street. the location is great as its smack in town but thats not a reason to go there. not one ounce of hospitality shown thoughout,
a poor poor hotel, mainly down to how its run. OLIMPIC should really discontinue this hotel as it will drag them through the mud.

just come back, and here to warn you do not think of staying here. cockroaches running about, blood and stains on sheets. grime and dirt thick round toilet seat. anyway im that mad im leving my e-mail contact address so you can ask me in person anything you want to know. alisonyorke@hotmail.co.uk

takkas was amazing
full of young people - 18 to about 25
food is fit in there - full english 5.20 euro
24 hr supermarket right outside - smirnoffs & wkds 1.65 euros. big 2ltr of vodka about 17euros
they have happy hours in the pool area - 9-12
nightlife just a short walk away.
nissi beach 2euro each in taxi - i went with 6 people
only annoying thing is the maid walks in wwhen your half naked asleep.
air con made us lose our voice
big bottles of water cost euro. - worth the price!!!
HIRE QUADSSSS. like 40 euros, ded fun. ride the beach and everywhere.
basic apartment - but thats all you need.
we ate noodles in the morning
make sure you take your own MILK.

me & 4 friends just got back from napa ! by far the best week of our lives ! hotel & reps nathan & clarky were hilerious ! made our hotel 10x better , the rooms were cleaned daily & for a 2 star we couldnt complain , it was literally 3 minutes walk away from the main square which was perfect! make sure yous all go on the booze cruise , funniest day of our holiday , only bad note was 1 of the bar girls was dour faced & constantly growlin , clearly didnt like scottish girls ! but defos a 10/10 and were booking up to bak next year !!!! x

please give this so called appartments a wide birth,never let a child within 10 miles of this dirty excuse of a hotel.unsupervised,unfriendly,dirty,and an accident waiting to happen,its time olympic took a long hard look at there standards.also the manager was ripping of the holliday makers by charging 10euros per day for air con,when the brochure stated 3 euros per day,

Well what can you say about this hotel in one word shameless.its advertised as a family hotel and there was not one family in there it was over run with yobs aged between 16 and 20 who had no respect for others.
The beds were fle ridden im having to seek medical help as my bits are that bad.The bedding was never changed once in the week i have stayed there.The towels were disgusting,the plates etc.Fidge and other kitchen stuff never worked.The owners of the hotel are never there to help and are not very welcoming at all theres no way of speaking to them as they ignore you even staying at the hotel them selfs there scruffy as hell.
The pool is so bad you would not let ur dogs swim in it.The bar is always locked and pad locked at that.with out of date beer in there.The keys to your room are on show so any one has access to ur rooms.Never again would i recommened this hotel if youy can call it that.the owners want shutting down and the hotel ripping down.Olympic Holidays should never advertise this hotel as the state of it them as a tour line should be disgusted that they advertise this as a hotel.
My bites are that bad and inflamed that im seeking medical help this am i only came back from here yesterday.I will also be seeking in legal proceddings from this tour line and its apartments.
