Don't do what we did. We holidayed here, liked it and decided to but our own caravan on site. Paid £21000 cash and four years later after making it virtually financially impossible by requiring fees for this and that for us to sell it upon my retirement, have offered us... more

I was very pleasently supprised with Park Resorts as we usually go to other well known camps. The caravan was clean and very well laid out. we had 8 of us in one van and there was just enough room for us.The bedding was clean and beds were ready made. we had digital tv,... more

We are a family with 2 boys aged 2 and 4, and this was the first time we’d been away in the peak summer holiday period. We chose Park Resorts after a fairly negative experience of Haven Weymouth Bay the September before last. Unfortunately, our initial impressions of... more

Have just returned from a planned 3 night break with my family, after 1 night at Pontins Camber Sands. This place resembles a cross between your worst council estate and stalag 17. Thankfully it was a budget break, but if you thought you would holiday in this country this... more

This was a holiday through the sun news paper, didn't expect much so wasn't overally suprised. We were not able to book in until 4, as it was raining we had to sit around in the club house for a couple of hours; we paid extra to upgrade to a 3 bedroom chalet. When we... more

Not if you have already been spoilt by attending a Hoburne campsite!
We were very disappointed. We were touring in a caravan and when we arrived our alloted pitch had been taken already. The staff were very unhelpful and generally off hand throughout the week, both on reception and entertainment areas. The shower blocks were dirty and due to lights being on timed switches and water which doesn't drain away, dangerous! The best thing was the indoor swimming pool - once you had got through the grotty changing areas which didn't allow for family changing. The site was poorly lite and the noise from the road... more
We had a great time
I am only bothering to comment after reading bad reviews about this site. My partner and I spent 4 days in a caravan with our youngest child here at the begining of August. The swimming pool was great the beach is outstanding and the entertainment is catering mainly for the kids - the reason us adults are at this site in the first place. We had a good time and reading some of the reviews mekes me laugh! What do people expect from a camp site in England? If your not happy dip into the bank account and go abroad and moan there. Any holiday is... more
caravan s don t camp here, travellers sight cleaner!
Toilets appalling with swine flu around you wouldn't know what you might pick up. Pitches are small basically put your caravan anywhere and set up and very uneven ground. Resturant was to busy 1 and a half hour wait ,went to fish and chip take away tables were covered in left over food not one clean table to sit at took them back to caravan.Had a week booked came home next day very disappointing, one last thing take ear plugs for night time load people and seagulls!
pool good, caravan good, site not so
Here for kids rugby tournament weekend (kids in Pontins next door) For a caravan park this has good facilities, but for a 'resort' it is just average. Location - ok. Have to cross road and walk a bit to pebble/sand beach. To get to the sandy bit with dunes it is easier with all the kids paraphenalia to take the car which means paying for parking as all the local roads are yellow lined to death. About 3 miles drive to Rye, but there are local shops, take outs and restaurants. Site - is on a flat field with no attempt at... more
Do Not Go Camping Here If You Have A Tent
We have just returned from a few days at this camp site. Please do not go here if you have a tent the ground is like concrete and the tent pegs do not stay in the ground. The shower and toilet facilities are absolutely filthy. The best thing about this site is the Warden Eddie he is extremely helpful and good fun and accommodating.
