For a start, the rooms are rather expensive for what they offer. My room in particular looked onto an adjacent tower block and some youths having a scrap below. It is also noisy as Grenoble’s night life is not too far away. The drinks in our rooms were offered at extortionate rates and there was little soul to the hotel as a whole.
The staff were rather grumpy and offered as little help and advice as they could possibly get away with. The breakfast was rather basic and was served by a woman who looked as though she intended to move you on as quickly as possible.
There are a few (rather small) positives, Wi-Fi is offered at a good rate and is secure. There are lots of rooms so a place is almost ensured and there is secure parking in the hotels car park rather than a lot of hotels in the area who often rely on street parking.
This place is not recommended whole heartedly. Although, it was used as a stepping stone and did serve its purpose as just that.
