Reviews of Dream Paradise Hotel, Side

Good points - Convenient position 10 minutes walk to beach and shuttle bus available.

Bad Points - Didn't get twin room as booked. Food was awful - cold food very warm (including mayonnaise salads). Needed to queue up before start of each meal session and rush in to load up your plate as a few minutes later everything was gone - only cold cooked vegetables and bones left.
Pool was nice but often the poolside was often flooded and the hotel staff din't seem bothered even when we had to wheel our cases through the water. I slipped over twice and fortunately was not injured.
There wasn't much choice of drinks - hot red wine or warm white wine sometimes available, coffee and tea only at mealtimes. Warm Beer, no ice - sometimes not even water. Only orangeade cold.
Several power cuts and no drinks available at these times not even water.
I didn't have high expectations but Dream Paradise!!!!! is a real joke.
If you need to complain you will need a russian phrase book as the staff do not speak English.

I am not a one of worlds miseries and have never felt call to submit a review but following the experience of Dream Paradise Hotel, i felt a certain justification and a duty to implore people not to venture to this what can only be decribed as a hole. I have been on many all inclusive over the last 10 years many have been as cheap as chips so i have gone with a certain 'you-only-get-what-you-pay-for' mentality. But this hotel is getting away with it:

The food is terrible, the staff are obnoxious and rude especially towards the English it seemed, the rooms are pretty awful. These was a cotton bud in the middle of the floor when we arrived and out of interest i waited to see if it was go....it was still there when we left. I managed to try and get some of the inclusivity with respect to the beer over the first few days but could not bring myself to keep going up to the staff and ask.

There was a funny odour about the place and i just felt grubby when i entered the complex. The place is crumbling and i would imagine will be shut within the year. If it was not for the British stiff upper lip, i would have been consumed by the misery that is the dream paradise, but a good-time was had by me and the Mrs inspite of not because of the this 'boyz-club' hotel.

I found that after 10 beers the beds were ok to sleep in, unfortunately i had to wake up sober.

Please avoid

No English at all in hotel.No English Reps.No entertainment at all.No kids club as suggested.No communication with the English apparently they dont like us.Food appauling sloppy and cold no meat at all eggs always rotten.Very little cleaner service.Staff even hate it there and wonderered wy on earth I booked it.Not fully inclusive like other hotels as no food all day just at mealtimes.Often the food ran out one hour before the finishing time but we were told that there was no more.There were no ice creams for kids like other hotels.Have accepted some hotels are basic but this is the worst on the resort.The water slide is broken and only pumps out water for about 20 mins per day before breaking down.The Russian and Polish guests seem to take over the place and we felt very uncomfortable.There was only one very hot cafe style restaurant and not the various as mentioned on internet.We were put in the staff quarters as there was no room for us upon arrival.We waited a whole day for a room and then 4 bedsettees were crammed into a 2 bedroomed appartment.This was not what we expected when booking an all inclusive hotel to sleep 4.The first room we were offered was not habitable as electric sockets were faulty and the room was filled with damp.A very shocking experience overall with trips to the chemist to prove it!!!!!!!

went with party of five adults,on arrival greeted by security guard, only one that could speak english at time,on entering rooms it dawned on us we were not in paradise,aircon didn,t work,shower door kept falling off,head loose,overall clean but tatty,daughter was in tears,but could not get through to helpline,so tried to make best of it,but on daylight coming found more nightmares,broken tiles round pool, chipped concrete on staicases,swarming with ants on balcony,and a dog running loose with three pups,witch attacked my son at every opportunity causing him to fall and injuring his leg,it was also allowed to roam freely,round pool,in restaurant,out of all staff of about a dozen,only three were helpfull and polite,some where quite rude and arrogant. They did not seem to cater for english people,as all information was in turkish or russian,even menu board,and as we were only english there it was daunting to say the least,could not get english tea,did not understand we had milk in tea,we ate out most of time even though we were all inclusive,the meals were not to any of our liking,if it wasn,t for the waiters nemet,and ian,also chevchek the security man,who were the only ones we could converse with it would have been impossible,it is deffinetly not one hotel we would recommend to english people,the young woman behind bar was very ignorrant and surly,The only hights to our holiday were that side town is beautiful,the beaches best i,ve seen in turkey so far,our boat trip enjoyable,the dalgic restaurant on beach was very freindly,especialy murat the head waiter,would go back to side,not dream paradise hotel.
