Just got back from Cinar Garden in Side, hotel/apt.Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Osman the manager, he was really a very goodhearted man very down to earth and laid back, sat with us a few times, had a drink and a chat very funny night. He took myself, wife and 2 kids out to the green canyon river which was absolutley beautiful, he also took us to a lovely waterfall. The man who did the Turkish bath and massage was hilarius he really made are holiday sitting with us by the pool a good sense of humour and had both my family and my brothers family in stitches all the time!! Rooms were spotlessly clean and the maids made swans out of our towels. Rooms were big and spacious, the balconys too. Food very nice and reasonable ,drinks too. 2 big swimming pools one of them with 2 big slides no need to go to the waterpark had as much fun there! A park there for the kids and a decent size baby pool for the little ones also with a slide. Side is a beautiful place different to Marmaris much more scenery to see, lovely beaches with turtles swimming in the sea, Good range of bars by the sea one particular bar we went back to was called Aremu bar staff lovely and friendly, on a Friday its Turkish folklore night and all the staff get up and do the dances what thet do in the villages, brilliant, a really brilliant DJ playing good club music I bought 2 cds from him with my chosen music on them! Marina is nice, and they have all untouched ruins on the beach with an amphitheatre all lit up in the night time from the Roman times, absolutley out of this world! £4 in a taxi from the hotel takes you straight there, or you can take the dolmus , with 9 of us going it worked out the same price. Going to book again for next year, same hotel never booked same place twice but that is how much we enjoyed ourselves!! Another good bar is Beckhams bar 5 min walk from hotel, had our daughters 6th birthday party in there was a good night they made her a lovely birthday cake. Could write loads about Side but havn,t got the space, try it and you wouldn,t go back to Marmaris again,its much more beautiful!!!!!!!!!
