The staff at this hotel have not got a clue how to give customer service! Ask the manager "where is the nearest bus stop to this hotel to take us to Salo?” answer, “I don't know I use my motor bike!” very helpful....
How on earth can an item on a daily menu not be available? This happened 3 times, the main complaint about this restaurant was the first course was a vegetable buffet, the room opened at 7:30pm, by 8pm nothing but shredded carrot, lettuce, onion and if you were lucky olives were left, the staff said "when it is gone, it is gone". Soup had run out twice, this was 7:45, twice a course on the main menu had run out, how can this happen in a 4 star hotel?
I give the hotel itself 7 as there is no bar, (too far to walk back to the centre) it is more of a coffee bar, the resort 9.
Don't book this hotel, it will spoil your holiday, Lake Garda is wonderful, transport is very good, but when the Tuesday market is there, no buses run, the same on a Sunday, you have to take the ferry.
