What a wonderful holiday, the hotel was in a good location and was about a 5- 10 min walk to the beach, The hotel staff were very friendly Ohson the bar man (not sure thats how to spell it) was fantastic. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the cleaners were hard working. The only thing to watch out for is the rooms below the pool, we were put in there and it was noisy in the morning, we asked to be moved and this was done without hesitation( to be honest I think they were supprised how long we stayed there without complaining)



The beach was fab but to be honest we were happy by the pool as it was very hot, if you got teenagers with you then Hisanarou was a short bus ride away cost about £2 this was a bit more lively in the evenings. The Lagoon I thought was over rated.

Go to the beach in the evenings its fab, beenbags to sit on with waiter service ( the vodka mango slush is a must) Also the Tascano restaurant was a good meal as well as the Buzz bar.



This was a fantastic hotel for the price we paid and would defiantly go there again

My husband and I spend a great two weeks in June on a self catering basis. Our apartment was huge having two bathrooms and two balconies, with air conditioning in both the bedroom and the lounge. The cleaning staff were really nice and pleasant with warm friendly smiles every day, our apartment was cleaned daily with fresh towels in both bathrooms. We decided to eat in the restaurant most evenings as it was really too hot to walk up and own to the town. The food was always fantastic, and the service excellent. We found the boys who work in the restaurant and bar very friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much for them. Our only complaint was the reception staff who tried to get us out of our room at 12noon on our 13th day even although we paid for 14 nights, eventually after getting our rep up to the hotel this was sorted out for us. It was during the second week that we found out who the Manager was, we had thought we was a guest as he was always sitting about and never spoke to anyone. The owner only spoke to us once when we were paying our final bill. Overall we did have a good holiday, enjoyed the apartments and hotel facilities, and found most of the staff very friendly. Don't be put off going, it's one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at during our 12 years going to turkey.

all the bad comments are wrong, hotel flamingo is great all the staff are lovely people but i think it pays to be nice back.

the hotel is clean everywhere always looks nice. There is a good variety of food for people, and the staff are always willing to go out there way to help if there are any problems



i have been going for 8 years to the hotel flamingo with my family and we have enjoyed it every time we even went for 3 weeks once!

Go its really amazing, and the tomato soup is soo nice ;).

On arrival we were told we would not be allowed to bring food/drink in to the hotel and any found in our room would be removed! This was a good start, was this hotel or a prison?

Other guests, who had been there longer, were quick to warn us that the bar staff had a habit of adding extra charges to your daily bar and food bills, so you had to check every day to make sure you were not being deliberately overcharged.



The overall facilities were acceptable (room was adequate, not generous). The staff were generally friendly, but on occasions they treated some guests with contempt. The resort was very commercialized, a bit like Blackpool /Great Yarmouth, every trader pestering you to buy/use their service. If your thinking about a holiday at this resort, I would suggest you take a closer look, unless you are happy being hassled and ripped off! I would go back to Turkey, but not to this resort.

We stayed at Flamingo 2 in a Deluxe room for one week with our young children. Although the hotel and area is pretty and clean there 20 steps before you can get to the room with no lift. We had a view of the mountain and side view of the sea. The Hotel is well placed, near bus stop and is a 10 minutes walk down to the beach with cafes and shops nearby. Hisoronu is a short dolmus ride away costing 2 lira per seat one way whilst Fethiye (which is more interesting, esp old town and mosque and harbour area) is 3.50 lira one way. The pool is clean and maid service excellent – sheets changed regularly/ beds made everyday. If you have a family I would suggest self catering as no outside food or drink is allowed in F2 nor in the restaurant (which is pricey). Breakfast was Ok but the same everyday (bring your own tea bags – theirs didn’t taste nice), evening buffet was OK and varied with rice, pasta, chip, salads and desert (melon or blomonge). The downside is the staff are unfriendly, stiff, hostile, rude and not child friendly. They seem only interested if you have cash to spare or they liked chatting to the single ladies. We complained once - our baby fell off a chair, hit her head and so cried. As a result we were asked by a staff member with no regards to our baby’s health “can you control your children, they are disturbing other people in the restaurant”. We must also have been reminded 4 times not to bring our own food and drink onto the premises, despite having young children that like to snack on things. You’ll enjoy Flamingo as long as you avoid the staff, I cant remember the restaurant staff ever saying hello or goodbye to us. Elsewhere in Olu Deniz the locals were very friendly.

Our favourite holiday was Greece until we went to Turkey. Been all over Greece, Spain, etc Turkey is amazing.



My hubby wasn’t very impressed of going to Turkey, he heard to many bad reports about the place but I managed to change his mind to go, and now he’s so glad he did as he said Turkey is a excellent place to go. He really loved it. He liked it that much we have booked to go back next September and we don’t go back to the same place twice.



The Turks are lovely people and go out of their way to help you nothing is too much trouble for them.



The hotel is excellent the best there is while we were there we had a good look round and couldn’t find one as nice as the flamingo very clean the maid service was excellent... All the staff was very friendly.



Never been half board but when we go next sept we have booked half board as the food was excellent had a couple of meals there.



Flamingo 1 is nice a bit smaller than flamingo 2. Flamingo 2 is excellent is a lot bigger.



There are two children’s pool and two large pools, two bars both serving snacks! Plenty of nice places to eat out and is very cheap.



The boat trip is a must....cost us £4.50 each with lunch on board in with the price!

Water Park is another day out...not very big but well worth a visit the kids loved it!

That worked out £7.00 each for the day transfer included.



My eldest daughter was 16 and she swam with dolphins she said it was amazing best thing she’s ever done that cost about £65.00 transfer included....you only get 15 minutes with them but well worth it.



I did paragliding that worked out about £45.00 excellent experience well worth it going up the mountain was worse than jumping of it.



The beach is also lovely shallow for kids.



Overall excellent holiday excellent for families and couples. If you have booked to come here you won’t be disappointed.
