It was our first time at the rosy apartments we had our doubts at first but it turned out a brilliant holiday. The staff were so helpfull there was entertainment everynight we didnt need to leave the hotel i would definaley reccomend it to anyone it was one of the best holiday we have had n i hope to go back i would like to say thanks to all the bar staff they were so funny and helpfull xxxx Denise Chelsea Heidi n Connor xxxx

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the Rosy Apartments in Marmaris, Turkey for 7 nights. We found whilst there to be a mixture of good and bad points of the accomodation. To start off, if you are planning on booking a holiday to Greece or Turkey - do be warned that you can not flush toilet paper down the toilet, but you have to throw it into the bin(s) provided.
The Rosy Apartment offers facilities such as:
. Pool area with sunbeds (do make sure you get these early!!)
. Bar which also serves variety of food during day and night (8 am - 11pm), this also includes fantastic entertainment in the evening
. Games room & Internet cafe
. Safe deposit box (at a charge of 15 Lira)
. Air conditioning (at a charge of £25)
. Free WiFi access (only accessible in reception)
All them points state exactly what the Rosy has to offer, but don't be fooled by the good points! When you book just like we did, you might find it outlines air conditioning is included but as stated above we had to pay £25 for it.

The Rosy can be quite noisy at night when it comes to the bar,plus if staying at the back of the hotel then you will hear the electricity lines which can be irritating.
Cleaners do attend the rooms every morning but they don't tend to be too fond on brushing and mopping the floors to a normal standard.
You only recieve 1 toilet roll during your stay so make sure you get some in!
During our stay we found that the room did smell and we had to buy air freshener to make the smell go.
Also the sink in the bathroom was falling off the wall, and the kitchen tap flew off whilst washing up one evening.
Prices from the bar are quite excessive so make sure you shop around for your food & drink. Just 2 minutes away from the apartment opposite Pazar Taksi there is a supermarket, buy your food & drink from there, it's cheap!
If you prefer to eat out then there are a few good resturants about. The first one being George & the Dragon fun pub, this is a 5/10 minute walk from the Rosy. They offer full English/Scottish breakfast for just 4 Lira (approx £2/2.50), evening meals are also fantastic! If you are somebody for Chinese,then opposite George & the Dragon there is an Indian/Chinese resturant there. Another place I would recommend is Yuksel resturant which is opposite the harbour on the seafront. We payed 60 Lira for 2 mini bageuttes, 2 main meals and 2 deserts, was worth the money! Check it out!! McDonalds and Burger King are just 10 minutes away from this resturant on the corner of the seafront.
Marmaris temperatures can top as much as 45oC a day so make sure you have plenty of sun lotion!
So with all this in mind I would give the Rosy a 6/10 as their services are helpful but cleaning and maintenance is poor. Never had a problem with the staff, they are very funny and very helpful, make sure you see the Michael Jackson show in the evening at the bar! Also there is Bingo during the day and Karoke at night.

We have been going to the Rosy for YEARS as a family My Mum is now 81 and she is treated like the Queen at the Rosy it is an ideal location to reach everything with a wheelchair Management are 1st class & staff basic aparts but homely comfy clean beds I actually got Married and had the wedding party in the Rosy in 08/2009 and i go back 10/05/2010 as long as the beds clean im happy you dont go away to sit in apart 5* to me FANTASTIC.

just back from rosy apartments this july,we had 7 amazing days there. the pool was great for my kids and my man even loved the slide,lol.the staff were great and friendly.the rooms are basic but realy clean.the only downside i had was that the turkish night was a let down and not worth the money. try fawlty towers, an amazing pub and great food and amazing staff. cant wait to go back next yr.

we will never be going back to the rosy ever again!!from the very start of the holiday i knew we were going to have trouble.there were only 2 of the bar staff that were freindly{sonny and mustafa}.on the 3rd day my boyfriend had his mobile phone stolen and none of the staff were bothered about the theft.then on the 6th day my boyfriend had ashirt and money stolen from the bar area,2 of the staff witnessed a member of staff taking the money and shirt,when we complained to management they didnt believe us.the whole place was filthy!!!we would advise nobody to stay at the rosy apartments!!

we had a fab time at the rosy would def go back ricky and rest of staff very friendly young lad who worked round the pool entertained my grandchildren they had good fun. the room was very basic but was clean and thats all you need only 1 thing we bought 7 dvds and only 2 work rest are black and white.looking forward to go again next year.

We stayed at Rosy October 2008, we were concerned about weather at first but turned out to be mid 70s to mid80s even in October The location is good ie. 5 minutes to seafront even for a seventy year old. 20 minutes to harbour area and Bazaars. Loads of bars and cafes catering for all tastes and budgets, all with seafront locations in harbour area.Loads of day trips on offer.
I have seen some bad reports but disagree Remember the saying,
"TREAT PEOPLE AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED YOURSELF"
Our apartment was cleaned every day. We had clean towels every day--more than we could use--
All in all great locstion-great staff - looking forward to going back when season opens

this has been the worst holiday that i have been on in my life. this is not a holiday for kids and old people.
the staff were not very friendly, our appartment was bang right next to the bar, were music went on to all hours along with dancing on the bars. as long as people bought drinks the bar stayed open. this went on till about 3 in the morning, for the whole week we were there.
the rooms were dirty and no maid service untill 5 days into our holiday, only because we complained and asked.
even after complaining about the noise it still went on nightly.
we eat out at other resturants to get away from the noise.
i would not recommend this holiday to anyone and if it had a zero rating thats what i would have gave it.
definitly wont be back.

had a really comfortable stay at the rosy,very clean ,good pool,very friendly staff,just a bit to far from main drag for me ,great resort but getting pricey

i stayed in the rosy apartments with 2 friends in july 2008. this hotel is by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed in!!! i would never reccommened this hotel to anyone at all, especially 3 adults in a studio room. this room was not acceptable for 3 adults. it had 2 beds and was not a sugnicant amount of room for people to move around in. we asked for another bed because there was 3 of us and it took them 5 hours to even think about doing this. the bar staff however are quite friendly people and did put up with us till 5am. however...the reception guy and the managaer are a waste of space and shouldnt even be working in a junk yard let alone a hotel. these people just said theres nothing we can do, sleep on the balcony. and played on his playstation 3 all night. We had to move hotels because it was unsatisfactory and after getting out of that dump, our hotel was a plesent one!!!!
