Went for a week with my 7 yr old daughter over Easter. I would certainly not rate this as a 5 star hotel -more like 3 star and I was very disappointed. I booked this hotel specifically for the outdoor pools/waterpark. However as it is still classed a winter at this time of year, the outdoor pools were not open. The company would not move us to another hotel as they claimed that all pools were shut this time of year - FACT they werent as we were advised on journey home. I evetually rang through to UK at my own expenses yet was told the same as ther too had been lied to. The service at the hotel was very poor and were were often ignored at bar/restaurant. We were one of 6 English people at this hotel, full of Turks, Germans and Russians. Rooms ok, clean etc but again not to 5 star UK standards. Food ok but only available at insdie restaurant, none of the outside bars were open for food or drink so we had to trek inside hotel whilst sunbathing - which in itself was a pain as had to cover up to avoid the Turkish Male stares. No-one held any doors open - despite struggling with hands full of drinks. The area could be very beautiful, nice town and walks. Beach is pebbles and no beds/paths/drinks etc.The hotel does have an indoor pool which is ok however underground, you cannot see daylight and can get quite busy. This was also shut for 3 days that we were there. No entertainment at all. TV only has CNN and BBC in English. It is possible that this hotel could be fantastic with all facilities open however we were not impressed in slightest- to be honest shouldn't have been open until it was ready to open all facilites.

I stayed at the Grand Haber hotel for 9 nights with my cousin and her 9 old son. We were the only English people there and had been for a very long time, but they made us very welcome and we were treated like royalty.
Most staff spoke perfect English, and they all knew the basics. The hotel was mainly full of Germans and Russians, but entertainment in the evenings was done in about 5 different languages.
The hotel is classed as a 5 star, and for Europe I suppose it is. The hotel was lovely and clean, spacious and had great surroundings. Kemer is a beautiful place.
We stayed on an all inclusive basis and were impressed with the food and drinks included in this. I loved the dinners where there was plenty to choose from inside, and outside there were freshly cooked bbq's with fresh fish being cooked, different kebabs, stir frys and sweets. It smelt wonderful and tasted lovely.
The waiters came to your table and took your drink orders, or if you just wanted a soft drink, squash or local wine you could help yourself. The food area is rather large and it took us 2 days to find the cereals and toaster at breakfast! Breakfast was my least favourite meal, as they didn't do much meat, but always filled myself up on the freshly cooked pancakes which were lovely. There was always somebody making fresh omelettes too.
During the day you get snacks from the beach bar, and around the aqua pool there was a tent making fresh gozleme which is like a stuffed pancake. Inside the tent they also cooked burgers and potato wedges and for an hour each day, just around the corner you could get a free ice cream.
The entertainment team were a good laugh and always had the time to sit down and have a chat to you. We especially liked the Turkish night entertainment and gala night was fab too. They didn’t some funny comedy sketches too.
They had a wonderful kiddies village, with activities such as t-shirt painting, sand arts etc, and it was based next to the aqua park which was handy. The kiddie’s village was also air conditioned inside.
Our room was basic but very nice, and always kept lovely and clean. There were a couple of English channels on the TV too. The room was air conditioned as long as the balcony door was closed which was nice, because we had read reviews saying there was no air conditioning in rooms.
Overall I would definitely go back to this hotel. It’s a great place for families and the pools were lovely. All staff very friendly and there is also lots to do in Kemer.
A short walk will talk you to a small town with lots of shops and a burger king!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't want a hotel full of other British people and bacon and sausages every morning, because you certainly won’t get it there.
