My husband and I stayed at Captains Studios in Milina, Pelion and were extremely disappointed. The apartments were ok but down a very long road.
The bathroom set up was ridiculous. I am used to Greece being basic, but this was an exception to the rule. The shower literally being above the toilet!
The locals in Pelion I found to be rude, curt, and surly and nothing like previous experiences in various other parts of Greece we have visited. A couple of the bar owners were ok but majority of locals (95% or so) were downright unfriendly. A warm welcome was certainly not received.
The Kosmar rep was worse than useless. We were pretty much left in the hands of the studio owner on arrival, who spoke very little English, the rep vanishing in a breath. We hired a car the following morning and on returning found that a welcome meeting had been held that day at 12.50! Were we expected to wait in all morning in our room for information on the resort!
If you like beaching holidays as I do, again - don't go there. Their idea of a beach is a tiny, narrow stretch of shingle with not a sunbed in sight. We eventually managed to find two beaches that had sunbeds on them which were about half an hour drive either way.
The beach they show you for Milina is nigh on impossible to get to unless you can climb like a mountain goat!
My advice is don't go there - go to Lesvos the people there are so much friendlier.
