Tinos Beach Hotel

Tinos is about a 35 minute ferry journey from Mykonos which could be a bit of chore if you miss your connection. Tinos is very much an authentic Greek Island.
The main tours operators have not discovered this island yet so there is no mass tourism here. It is just the way Greece used to be. The food is very traditional you will not find any fast food joints here.
The Tinos Beach hotel is situated right by the sandy beach of Konia is it a place for total relaxation. If you do not fancy the beach then the hotel swimming pool is another option.
There is also a sedate Piano Bar television lounge and a tennis court if you feel energetic. The rooms all have air conditioning which is a godsend.
We thought the food for breakfast was good and the evening meal was average. If we returned again we would go on bed and breakfast basis and take advantage of dining out more.
The island is a place to come to get away from commercialism and to be able to relax in true Greek style. If you want to live it up for a day take the ferry back to Mykonos and island where anything goes, fun for a day but no longer.
