Theres 1 bar & snack & pool bar billiard table in reception. rooms simple as you expect for 2 star.air cond. which you need works out at approximately £4 per day. Balconies small with no chairs etc only room to stand. Had to get up at 6.30am for sun beds then as we left they stipulated it had to be after 7am or towels would be removed. Hotel is in central position for everything. Staff ie. reception lady is lovely and very helpful, Soni, Liz and Jack the waiter are great. Cleaners need lessons especially for bathrooms had to clean own so take plenty of dettol. Dust was pushed under beds and luggage that was on the floor. Breakfast is ok for turkish the juice is watered down a lot tastes awful but they have a small vending machine and coffee is ok. Would not go again as mainly for families and young people who dont care whether they can hear themselves over the very loud music all day and night. Most days for clean, quiet and lovely cooked food and home made cakes and a pot of tea we went to Altinkum Tea Rooms run by a british lady and her daughter which is just up the road from the hotel and very well worth a visit or two.Be aware of bar staff adding drinks to your bill pay as you get your drinks or keep tight tabs on what you drink, this is a big problem. BE AWARE.

I stayed at the Meryem Ana Hotel from 23-30 July 2011. I was pleasantly surprised when i saw the hotel. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day and you were given clean towels daily too. Bed was changed twice in the week. I went bed and breakfast. Breakfast was the same every day(bread, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, feta cheese, jam or honey) bit boring but was fresh and you can eat as much as you like. The tea and coffee was undrinkable though, but there is diluted cordial. There is a lovely pool and plenty of sunbeds(free)the hotel has a hammam where you can have a turkish bath or a massage for £10. The staff on reception were very helpfull especially Rose. There are 2 pcs in reception if you need the internet, and a pool table. The room itself was nice, but it was above the bar which was outside my window and was VERY NOISY AT NIGHT!! until about 1am in the morning. However this was the only criticism of the hotel. so be warned if you like to have an early night. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel if you want to go sightseeing and its very cheap. I must recommend the Altinkum Tea rooms cafe which is run by an english lady and her daughter. they sell all home cooked foods and you can get a large pot of yorkshire tea for just over a pound! and the english breakfast was yummy too. this place is just down the street from the hotel, opposite the doctors office. I would def stay here again but in a room on other side of hotel away from bar haha.
