We stayed in these apartments in May last year and have just booked up to go again this year. Our little girl was 3 at the time and thoroughly enjoyed herself.
Just so that people know they employed a new chef last year and the food was fantastic. Always at least a choice of four main courses, a big salad, meat and cheese selection and a selection of veg. The puddings were the usual cake, jelly and ice cream. The food was amazing.
All rooms have a sea view and ours was immaculate. The beach is a 2 minute walk away, directly accessible through a gate at the pool area, saves walking long way around.
Staff were fabulous and all either spoke or attempted to speak English, Tony the waiter was fab with our daughter and reserved a table for our party every evening (5 of us).
There were a lot of Germans but they were very friendly and this was never a problem. In my opinion unless you book with a British Tour operator then you can't complain. We actually atayed with a very well known tour operator the year before and we all much prefered the Playa Dorada. Plus the Playa Dorada was all inclusive at a fraction of the cost of the other hotel for self catering.
Do book up asap as it is a popular hotel and I can assure you, you won't be disapointed!

All Receoption staff excellent Customer Care and all spoke English. Nothing too much for them. Event the Night Receptionsist Jodie who agains was friendly, well mannered and helpful-unusual for a Night Receptionist. Pool area very, clean, food - always found something to enjoy. Rooms clean, spacious, and excellent sea view. Had a really lovely time nothing negative!!! I have booked again for 2011 and cannot wait to go back.

The only reason that this hotel got 3 points is because it is situated in a beautiful location , right in the middle of 2 lovely beaches which are both within a couple of minutes walking distance . Also each room had lovely sea views . Unfortunately the rest of the holiday left a lot to be desired .
. Room was dirty . I am not a very particular person and have experienced some dodgy
living conditions , however , the room we occupied at this hotel was a
disgrace . Furniture was sticky with dirt and we had a constant battle with ants
which infested the room , floor , table , counter tops , they were everywhere . We
complained three times about the problem and were reliably ? informed that this was
a Majorcan problem which had to be endured . However after 10 days and numerous
tins of insecticide we finally beat the problem , but the dead ants were left on
the table for the duration . I can only conclude that the cleaners did not see the
scores of little bodies.
Beer , fruit juice , coke etc was on tap which was great , hoever if shorts were
the order of the day then there were problems with the bar staff who insisted that
you drank at what they deemed appropriate . Husband was not impressed , ended up
buying our own and sitting on balcony. This is a German hotel run by and for the
german people . At least 90% German holiday makers left little room for
communication and left us feeling isolated and very glad to be home.

Stayed at this hotel for 10 days 6th to 16th May, (2 adults) Weather was really bad for first 7 days, (no ones fault). Rest of holiday not great either. We were the only 2 people who spoke English for most of the time. Food was very dissapointing, definately geared towards German tourists. Did not find dining room staff very helpful. Very few spoke any English at all. No snacks at any time. No entertainment for Adults.
As it was raining and very windy kids entertainment had to be held in lobby of hotel, where bar and reception are and not enough room for everyone, crowded and noisy.Rooms were good size but cold and as it had just opened beds were damp. Room had cooker fridge etc., but fridge not on, you have to pay for it and TV, (which has only 3 news programmes speaking English.) we were going stir crazy in room
Situation of hotel very good in relation to beach etc but at the furthest away end of Sa Come near to Sillot. Lovely views from balconies but some got little or no sun (when it did appear).
Holiday company did not mention that it was probably a German orientated Hotel which I think was poor.
A lot of the shops had not even opened and the overall presentation of Sa Coma was that most of the backstreets were dirty and needing tidied up. Would not go back to that side of Island again, and dfeinately will check with operator what nationality uses Hotel most.

i have just returned from our 2 week stay at the above hotel. The hotel its self is brilliantly clean has very spacious rooms and the view from your balcony are fantastic.its a sea front hotel as most of the hotels on the stretch is . The pool is lovely and the pool area is always clean and tidy there is always sun beds available which is great.i went with my 3 year old son so genuinely he needs to be kept occupied . I don't think the entertainment that was on offer was enough. There wasn't hardly any think happening in the day other than coloring and may be a game of skittles on the stage. At one point my son actually came up to us and said im bored .This shouldnt be the case when there is kids entertainers around all day . The night time entertainment for the kids was a lot better but didn't last very long there was about 4-5 kids songs n dances which lasted roughly 9-9.30.To top the kids entertainment of earlier on in the day it was announced KIDS DISCO CD GRATIS which to me mean free but as my son as gone up for one they charged him 10 euro and as he wanted it and we said he could have one we then felt we had no choice and to top it off the cd was a copy with no label on it and the cover was a black and white photo copy that had been ripped instead of cut. :( not very happy . Over all the night entertainment was some times fun but you could tell they were budget acts and when there was singers on half the time you couldn't understand them as they were aimed more at the German visitors. Now to the food the presentation was good and food was always cooked nice. There isn't a lot to choose from so if you didn't like what was there you weren't eating. One day it was either rabbit or stuffed egg plants, i wasn't fancying either so i had a lump of mash n cheese.Puddings were ok but not much there either. There is always like a weird mixture of foods and the one think was battered cauliflower n broccoli yuck no thank you. There were some nice dishes like Pork Lamb n Veil. This happened dinner n tea time. The breakfasts were nothing to look forward to. The first morning it was either boiled egg scrambled egg or fried .You do get the bacon but there style n never had pork sausage once. The snack bar is basically a corner of the bar withe 1 rectangle cold pizza on there thats the same every day.
The hotel its self has a lot of German visitors and boy do they make you feel uncomfortable.Every were you go there staring and basically laughing at you not good on holiday you want to relax let your hair down and not worry about a thing . I honestly can say that the hotel does cater for the German visitors more but on a whole Sa Coma as a resort is aimed at Germans. They were so ignorant and bad mannered, for instance never saying thank you when you held a door open for them and they were sitting there staring and obviously talking about us mainly when we were eating. Not saying the British are perfect but even our 3 year old uses his manners. I would never go to a hotel that is more aimed for the Germans again and this wasn't just our opinion but of many others and not just British.
Overall we had a good holiday other than having to entertain ourselves the majority of the time.
