A truly wonderful hotel. Food plentiful and high standards throughout. Watch out for one of the waitresses, Ines, who is an absolute star and is happy to banter with the guests. She`s also great with small kids.
Gustav on the piano was very good entertainment and there`s a bar with a pool table and a screen showing sports if that`s your bag.
I shall be happy to book there again sometime. Thanks Jagerwirt!!

We first visited this hotel for a week’s skiing in 2005. We loved the hotel so much that we re-booked for 2006 before leaving. We did the same in 2006 and 2007 and will be in the hotel next week. We are greeted with happy smiles and given our same room each visit.
The food is excellent and reasonably varied. Evening meals tend to follow the pattern of starter, soup, salad bar, main course, desert then coffee. Once a week they have a Gala dinner, Farmers Buffet and Italian Night so there is always plenty going on.
The evening is spent with entertainers.
The hotel also has a good fitness centre with Sauna, Streamrrom, Roman Baths and a reasonable pool.

I stayed at the Jagerwirt and can highly recommend it. Sepp and his staff will cheerily serve you amazing and (almost too) plentiful food, Bridget will shake you a great cocktail and Gustav will play some great tunes in the piano bar.
The leisure facilities are also a god send after a day on the piste, with a great pool and Jacuzzis as well as several sauna's and steam rooms. The only reason it only scored 8 out of 10 is that our room could have done with some refurbishment. It was however a great size and I understand it is pretty much the only room that had not been recently decorated.
Will definitely return to this hotel - you must give it a try!

A fabulous hotel with wonderful staff. Especially Raff and Jodie working in Sigis Bar. We were very well looked after by Alex who owns the hotel. And as for the entertainment - great fun and only to be found in Kitsbuhel!
The hotel is a must for anyone looking for a relaxed, enjoyable, easy stay. The slopes are a mere 10 minute walk away or a free bus will get you there in 5 minutes.

Stayed in the fabulous Hotel Jagerwirt for one week. All the hotel staff were warm and welcoming and made our stay in Kitzbuel all the more enjoyable.
Jodie and Raffaelo delivering excellent service in the Sportsbar, Sigis, especially St. Patrick’s Night. Thanks a million for a fabulous send off!! Rooms were clean and comfortable and the baths definitely came in handy!
Will be heading back to the hotel next year for some more skiing, all skiers beware!

We stayed at the Jagerwirt for our honeymoon and were treated extremely well. The hotel is family run, I believe, and it really is like being a guest in someone’s home. The food was excellent and well needed after all that skiing. My only complaint was that our room wasn’t that cosy or nicely/newly decorated. It was rather dated, with the carpet being rather cheap and rough underfoot and the bathroom being clean but dingy. I do not know what the other rooms were like, maybe we were just unlucky. On the plus side, the bed was really comfy and the sheets were so very soft.
There is a free bus that runs around the resort with a stop literally 20 spaces outside the Jagerwirts door. I personally preferred the skiing on the Kitzbuhler Horn side as, not being terribly good, I felt very safe and there is a lovely blue run that’s long and steady, back down to the lift.
The night life is fairly quiet. We went to the Casino once and had a great time and the hotel laid on some entertainment that reminded me of Lemahl from the 80's - blur.
All in all we had a lovely time, the transfers were pleasant and beautiful scenery makes for a relaxing journey.
