Hesperia Alicante Golf

I stayed at Hesperia Alicante golf hotel for 3 nights this August. It is a new hotel, but I think it is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are ok, but for a 5 star hotel we have missed the small thinks, like really clean windows, or a nice interior, or a powerful shower, etc. It looks a little bit like a normal 4 star holiday beach hotel, without any beach and a disappointing pool. Stayed at Hesperia Alicante golf hotel for 5 nights this June. Nice new hotel, not sure it justifies 5 stars though. Rooms are okay, a little small and without anything beyond the standard. no kettles or irons, poor shower. Staff weren't the most friendly but did what was required when asked. Hotel was pretty quiet, think it is a bit far out of town and a good 12 Euro taxi ride into the centre. Would say car is pretty essential.
