The Metro Inn at Peterborough used to be a Formula One hotel and frankly not much has changed except its name.
All rooms are clean and basic and can sleep up to 3 people as they have a double bed and a bunk bed. Washing facilities within the room are limited to a washbasin though there are plenty of showers/toilets within the building so you’ll never have to go far.
All rooms have a small TV though at the time we stayed the remote control handsets were not available. Check-in can be anytime from 14:00 hours onwards and rooms must be vacated by 11.00amIf you are looking for clean basic accommodation this is ideal and I can’t think that you will find anything cheaper (our room cost £24.50 and a continental breakfast is available for an additional £3.50)
