La Nina Hotel

we really loved the hotel and the people working there. everybody so friendly and warm. we got a great stay in a generous and clean room with full service. breakfast only in the morning, so we missed it a lot for the nightlife in sitges!

Pros: -excellent location – close to the beach (30 seconds - 1 minute walk) and the tourist attractions (the church and the 2 museums – 10 minute walk) but far from the main bar area so that it’s not noisy at night -about 15-20 minutes walk from the train station or the Mono bus stop -breakfast and wireless internet included -good breakfast selection (and long hours – until 11:00 a.m.) -friendly and courteous English speaking front desk staff -nice clean room with a balcony (rear facing room)<br... more

Nice reception with a glass of cava on arrival. Friendly staff willing to help. We had a rear facing room with balcony which was a good size if a little basic. The bathroom was very clean and spacious with plenty of toiletries. The terrace overlooking the seafront served the buffet breakfast which was quite varied and set us up for the day. The service was good. Right opposite the beach and well placed for everything in the town - the location was excellent. Would stay here again.

I am surprised by the very positive reviews that this hotel is receiving. I have just come back from a week long stay with the hotel and can honestly say that I do not believe the service or the standard merits 4 stars. I agree the rooms are all very clean and well maintained. But they are basic, the mini bar contents no longer contain most of the items mentioned on the price list, the water pressure on the 3rd floor of the hotel is appalling. It takes at least 20 minutes to run a bath, by which time the water is only lukewarm.... more

We relied on the Trip Advisor reviews to choose this hotel and were really glad we did - it was exactly as described in all respects. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel easily measured up to a Spanish 4-Star rating and the location was superb; overall the experience was excellent.

Wanted a 4-star hotel on our second return to Sitges, as had stayed previously at the 3 star Hotel Sitges Park some 6 years ago which was more like a 2 star! La Nina does not disappoint. The design of the hotel has been extremely well planned. The foyer area, restaurant area, pool area on the rooftop, Breakfast and Dinner all excellent. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in July 2007 and we were generally pleased with the choice. The location is perfect right on the beach front, breakfast was great and we had no problem with the rooms. Air conditioning was fine, the bathroom was nice and the room was well cleaned eveyday. There is a terrific, reasonably priced restaurant on the ground floor which attracts a lot of business at the weekends. My only gripe was that it was rather difficult to get drinks due to the lack of hotel bar. There is only the restaurant.... more

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. It is across the street from the beach and close to tons of restaurants and shops. You can easily walk anywhere from this hotel. The front desk staff was very patient with our many questions. We used the hotel's PC several times to email home--it was fast and free! The room was very clean, the in-room safe was secure, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. We had free breakfast included with our rate, which was also nice. We would absolutely stay here again--it was a lovely experience.

What a perfect location - close to the centre of Sitges. I had a first floor room with a balcony (115) and I can't think of a single thing wrong with my week's stay. There was wireless internet for your own PC or free use of the Hotel's PC. The well stocked breakfast included in my price stopped at 10.30am. I can't recommend it enough although I wouldn't eat dinner in the restaurant - you can get better Paella elsewhere. The staff were friendly. We have just spent 10 wonderful days at La Nina in Sitges. We have done a fair amount of travelling in our days and give La Nina top marks for position, facilities and level of service. Beds very comfortable! Thankyou to all the staff. Betty & Pat
