I visited with my husband and 2 children aged 11 and 6.
The staff were absolutely fine - they were great with our kids ... having witnessed british children sliding around the shop soaking and not giving a please or a thank you to bar staff highlights that if some people found the bar staff rude, the bar staff had good reason to be rude.
The pools were nice and big - however had to contend with people throwing bread rolls in the pool and finding it amusing, along with people throwing cigarette ash off their balconies onto the sunloungers.
The nearby waterpark is fab and we had a great day out there and also if you turn right out of the hotel there are a couple of ok family restaurants.
This hotel is dated and is nowhere near a 4 star - the thought of ever returning fills me with nausea.
We took a walk into lloret also - it is pure squalor unless u r into mcdonalds, burger king and greasy spoons on your summer hols.

food was fine, plenty of choice etc, good snacks available, bar was ok but you always had to queue! room fine and nicely cleaned every day, staff were all fine but the downside is that the hotel is over full permanently of a wide variation of nationalities who seemed intet on making as much noise as poss! standard bed time seems to be between 2 and 5 am and the walls are literaly paper thin! dont expect much sleep if thats your thing. overall it was not for us but for a young group it would be fine.
the beach on the right side of the headland is good and more used by the locals, visited tosa de mar which was beautiful and the medieval night was fun.
on the beach were poor agents, watch their baggage policy, you pay double what you would with the carrier and they wont speak on the phone! (which would be ok if they answered emails)

Just returned from a week all inclusive with my partner and 2 little girls aged 8 and 5. Had an absolutly lovely week the hotel was immaculate, the food was ok you wouldn't go hungry it's the same as in all other all inclusives really. Childrens entetainment was really good i hardly seen my 2 little girls they were either in the kids club or playing in the pool, the reps would come out for a while with the kids and do dancing round the pool. There was also water polo, scuba diving and other things to keep older children entertained. Why people moan about the drinks i don't know if there's a few of you, you can just take all the cards to the bar and get 2 drinks on each adult card and 1 on each childs card which was not a problem for us at all, why would you need to get more than 2 drinks at a time? The queues weren't bad at all and the week we were there it was really busy. The only problem i found was that there wasn't enough sun loungers round the children's pool so i had to get up at 8 every morning and put towels out otherwise we wouldn't of got one. But overall we all had a lovely week and i would definately go back.

Went for a week away in the sun with a friend and my 3yr old daughter. The HTop Hotels group had been recommended to myself- you can use any Htop hotel facilities up to 7pm if you pre-book the day before which was good but we just stayed in our hotel. The staff were friendly, the rooms were comfortable- we overloked the cemetry so all was peaceful apart from a woman coughing all night heard through the paper thin walls. Very clean hotel and rooms, bedding and towels replenished every day.
The food on offer was similar every day but no complaints as there was something for everyone, even my daughter ate well, probably more choice for her at lunchtime than evening mealtimes. The drinks were included and the measures were huge! can only get 2 drinks at a time on per card but that was ok for us. And do remember to join the queue for your drink!
10 min walk left out of hotel to Lloret beach or right to Fenals beach which was much quieter
Resort transfers through Resorthoppa were fine apart from the driver stopping for numerous fag breaks as we were far to early to the airport- 7.30 pick up for 11.30 flight on the way back.
Flight with Ryanair- beware your weight as they are very strict- I was charged 30 Euros for going 2kg over on way back, even though friend was 2kg under they wouldn't take that into consideration.
So overall very satisfied and would definately return, well worth the money which cost £260 each

Well i have just come back today from spain and to be honest i dont think its as bad as you're all making it out to be.
Don't know about you lot, but i found the staff were lovely and also very helpful. The food was good for adults, but not much for kids apart from chips, and some little things like hotdog sausages now and again. But there was always something for everyone. The hotel is very very clean, the maids were in i think every day to clean our room, and it was immaculate every time. Although i did seem to find a hole in my cover which was obviously done by someones cigarette, but nothing serious. The outdoor pool(s) are great! There is one very deep one which is obviously for adults wanting to relax on one side of the hotel and on the other is a pool which children can play in on the other (also a toddler pool for little ones.)
Now to the bad bits of the trip. I found the indoor pool was absolutely disgusting and made me gag when i walked into the room. The room itself smelt like sweat and urine (sorry for being so graphic!) but really it was horrible. When you actually got into the pool it was even worse. It really badly smelt like someone had poo'd in the pool.. on that note.. and in the jacuzzi's either side. Also i was horrified to see that half the ceiling was disintegrating from the roof! If you do come to this hotel, I would advise you to stay out of the indoor pool. The outdoor pools may be cold, but I'd rather freeze than have to go through that experience again.
Moving on swiftly.. The entertainment.
I found that it was basicly the same sort of thing over and over again every night. Although one of the nights which i found was very interesting was when the dancers came over from barcelona. They were very good.
And last but certainly not least - the noise at night.
This morning when I had to get up to catch the coach to the airport at 5:45 i could barely open my eyes, because i got absolutely no sleep apart from about 30 minutes last night. All night there were young people running and screaming up and down the corridors! God knows why they were slamming the doors so loud. It was over and over and over again, and i was waiting for a security guard to come up or something, but no, no one came up to stop them.
So that is my honest review of my holiday.
Overall i had a pretty good time, got a lovely tan even though the weather certainly wasnt the best, and the whole family enjoyed it.
Thumbs up for a last minute break :)

I have just shortly retured from this holiday with my boyfriend it was our first holiday away together and not a very pleasant one. It was mainly the food as we could barely eat any of it and when we did try some we were both very ill that night and the next day we spoke to two couples who had also been ill in bed all the next day from eating a burger. The weather cant be helped but apparently it was the worst weather the locals had seen in 25 years it was pouring down wot was rubbish was the lack of entertainment inside the hotel considering it was a 4star so everyone looked misriable. We also has a problem with the transfers on the way back and assked reception for a bit help but they wernt helpfull atall. The area its self would have been nice in the sun as its very touristy. I sadly wouldnt go back though.

A large clean hotel not far from Lloret centre. Room for four was good but small, four single beds in a row with en-suite and balcony. Noisy at night due to location next to busy main road and other holidaymakers returning from night out etc, to be expected I suppose. Earplugs are essential if you want a good night's sleep. Could not fault the food for the money but don't expect gourmet quality.

We have just come back today from our 5 day holiday here and had an amazing time. Arrived at the hotel and were happy with what we saw, nice location and a nice looking hotel. The reception people were very helpful and cheerful even though it was 10pm. Went to our room which was lovelym really clean although shame about the two single beds pushed together but we could easily live with that.
Food in the hotel wasnt that amazing, very basic for what you pay for however most nights we ate out! We HIGHLY recommend the restuarant opposite called el racho. Its a pizzeria witht he most amazing pizza and excellent service from al the waitors and also very could value. We had two HUGE pizzas, glass of rose bottle of bear, and two slices of home made cake for 25 euro def worth the money!
Make sure you visit the beach if the weather is good as they are amazing. Go exploring over the rocks and you will find a lovely secluded beach which is stunning! There is a also a boat ride which took you all round lloret de mar and tossa de mar etc which was good value for money although we didnt have time to do it.
All in all we were very happy with our holiday and look forward to going again. J
ust remember not to expect much from the 4star hotel as they do rate their hotels out there and lot different to us over here but it was all good for the money we paid.
Try not to look at the bad reviews as everyone experiences things differently. We went and ther were hardly any english people ther which made it that more special.
Hope you have a nice time

I have just come back from this Hotel today with my girlfriend and I am totaly discusted with The hotel and there staff.
We booked this hotel from the teletext 2 days before we flew out looking for a fairly quiet break, a bit of sun but not really expecting it in march..
But still paid half board inc transfers £175.00 each sharing one room.
when we 1st arrived at the hotel at reception we were at 1st happy with what looked like a fairly nice place decor looked good inside and out.
Then our opinions gradually changed useless very little speaking receptionists who didnt really go out of there way to make you feel welcome or ask any questions..
Full of spanish people.. fair enough were in spain yes but no..
Lots off them every where you looked you were looked at and staired at.
Me and my partner took the lift to our room where we checked out what we were going to be staying in for the week ahead..
My 1st thought was okay its not that bad we can live here for the week.
The shower was powerful and we had a big bath and mirror, great
Our promised double bed was 2 singles pushed together comprising of the old style metal frame with metal wires across, very uncomfortable.
We found a single cigarette burn on our sheets and on the other a scortch mark.
As we unpacked our suit cases we noticed that the doors and walls were very thin
we could hear every ones conversations and the groups of spanish teenage thugs who were all socialising in the corridors outside.
The spanish thugs brayed on our door more than 3 times before i answered it
Which then they were like sorry friend wrong door, yeah right
The reception were called and security came but nothing was done and it continued through the night to us and other sick people.
The bar staff wernt actually bad a few ignorant inderviduals but fairly good
Great food and drink
But you couldnt stay in all inclosive youd go mad.
Let me just say ive stopped in a fair few hotels and apartments and have never put up with so much distress, sleepless nights and worries.
So many distrispectful staff and people.
There was not alot off happy people in this hotel and when talking to couples of various ages young and old they were all sick, unhappy
This is my opinion at the end of the day
I dont have hughe expectations but wouldnt recomend this place to any one.
Just glad to be back in one piece and will never return..

me and my partner booked 10 nights at this hotel and wasnt sure what to expect with reading all the reviews beforehand, but having arrived there i was quite surprised. although we went at the time the spanish had their free holidays there were some english people staying there as well. the food was ok although it could have been warmer but there were microwaves on hand so it didnt really bother us. the staff were friendly and helpful but there wasnt much entertainment at the hotel so it got a little boring after a while. we ventured out the hotel hoping to have some good nights out but again there wasnt much going off at the time we were there only at the weekend. for the money u pay to stay in this hotel it is well worth it and i would def stay here again but later on in the year as it is too quiet untill after may

We spent a week there at the end of February. The hotel was clean and the reception staff very helpful.
There was a Cycle Touring Club staying at the same time and we had 'Orchestrated Door Banging' every morning at 0730 when they were getting together for breakfast. The sound proofing between rooms is poor and we could hear the guy in the next room snoring.
The holiday was good value for money.
It was mildly irritating that AI guests can only have a glass of water and are not permitted to have a bottle of water with their meals, but that is only a minor moan.
The meals were reasonable - not a wide selection but the menu did change each day and there was always something that you could find to eat.
Unfortunately, I picked up a stomach bug whilst at the hotel and suffered a week of 'Galloping Gut Rot' when I got home. I know that I picked up something whilst there as I started with symptoms on the day before we left and had not eaten or drunk anything from anywhere else whist we were on holiday. I don't know exactly what caused the illness - tests found bacteriological cause, so it may have been a virus.
My wife was not affected, though we did not eat all the same things.

The food in the hotel was not very good,( i have never seen microwaves in a dining room before) Everything had to be warmed up or eaten cold. The staff were not very friendly, the entertainment was "a joke", My children had to learn the entertainment lady the dances. The hotel mainly catered for the Spanish, who were very ignorant and rude, without any manners. Won't be going back, noway.

Stayed in this hotel in jan 08, i was appalled at the behaviour of the people staying there. as it was all inclusive people behaved as they had never seen a drink before, the noise at night was awful, people shouting and fighting in the corridors this was on a regular basis. the rooms themselves were ok, clean, but my balcony overlooked a carpark that was getting work done so hence the diggers started at 8am.The food was ok, there was enough to pick and choice from, I would say that stag and hen nights would go down a treat in this hotel, but it is definately not a place for families or if you are looking for a quiet getaway, with nice restaraunts and bars around, we were a party of 3 My daughter who is a party animal and her boyfriend would not go there again. The only good thing i can say is the staff work hard and are lovely, but did not want to know at night when the fighting and arguing started.. On the whole really spolit holiday due to the fighting and arguing of people who can not control there greediness for all day alcohol.
