A large clean hotel not far from Lloret centre. Room for four was good but small, four single beds in a row with en-suite and balcony. Noisy at night due to location next to busy main road and other holidaymakers returning from night out etc, to be expected I suppose. Earplugs are essential if you want a good night's sleep. Could not fault the food for the money but don't expect gourmet quality.

me and my partner booked 10 nights at this hotel and wasnt sure what to expect with reading all the reviews beforehand, but having arrived there i was quite surprised. although we went at the time the spanish had their free holidays there were some english people staying there as well. the food was ok although it could have been warmer but there were microwaves on hand so it didnt really bother us. the staff were friendly and helpful but there wasnt much entertainment at the hotel so it got a little boring after a while. we ventured out the hotel hoping to have some good nights out but again there wasnt much going off at the time we were there only at the weekend. for the money u pay to stay in this hotel it is well worth it and i would def stay here again but later on in the year as it is too quiet untill after may

We have just come back today from our 5 day holiday here and had an amazing time. Arrived at the hotel and were happy with what we saw, nice location and a nice looking hotel. The reception people were very helpful and cheerful even though it was 10pm. Went to our room which was lovelym really clean although shame about the two single beds pushed together but we could easily live with that.

Food in the hotel wasnt that amazing, very basic for what you pay for however most nights we ate out! We HIGHLY recommend the restuarant opposite called el racho. Its a pizzeria witht he most amazing pizza and excellent service from al the waitors and also very could value. We had two HUGE pizzas, glass of rose bottle of bear, and two slices of home made cake for 25 euro def worth the money!

Make sure you visit the beach if the weather is good as they are amazing. Go exploring over the rocks and you will find a lovely secluded beach which is stunning! There is a also a boat ride which took you all round lloret de mar and tossa de mar etc which was good value for money although we didnt have time to do it.

All in all we were very happy with our holiday and look forward to going again. J

ust remember not to expect much from the 4star hotel as they do rate their hotels out there and lot different to us over here but it was all good for the money we paid.

Try not to look at the bad reviews as everyone experiences things differently. We went and ther were hardly any english people ther which made it that more special.

Hope you have a nice time

I have just come back from this Hotel today with my girlfriend and I am totaly discusted with The hotel and there staff.

We booked this hotel from the teletext 2 days before we flew out looking for a fairly quiet break, a bit of sun but not really expecting it in march..

But still paid half board inc transfers £175.00 each sharing one room.

when we 1st arrived at the hotel at reception we were at 1st happy with what looked like a fairly nice place decor looked good inside and out.

Then our opinions gradually changed useless very little speaking receptionists who didnt really go out of there way to make you feel welcome or ask any questions..

Full of spanish people.. fair enough were in spain yes but no..

Lots off them every where you looked you were looked at and staired at.

Me and my partner took the lift to our room where we checked out what we were going to be staying in for the week ahead..

My 1st thought was okay its not that bad we can live here for the week.

The shower was powerful and we had a big bath and mirror, great

Our promised double bed was 2 singles pushed together comprising of the old style metal frame with metal wires across, very uncomfortable.

We found a single cigarette burn on our sheets and on the other a scortch mark.

As we unpacked our suit cases we noticed that the doors and walls were very thin

we could hear every ones conversations and the groups of spanish teenage thugs who were all socialising in the corridors outside.

The spanish thugs brayed on our door more than 3 times before i answered it

Which then they were like sorry friend wrong door, yeah right

The reception were called and security came but nothing was done and it continued through the night to us and other sick people.

The bar staff wernt actually bad a few ignorant inderviduals but fairly good

Great food and drink

But you couldnt stay in all inclosive youd go mad.

Let me just say ive stopped in a fair few hotels and apartments and have never put up with so much distress, sleepless nights and worries.

So many distrispectful staff and people.

There was not alot off happy people in this hotel and when talking to couples of various ages young and old they were all sick, unhappy

This is my opinion at the end of the day

I dont have hughe expectations but wouldnt recomend this place to any one.

Just glad to be back in one piece and will never return..

We spent a week there at the end of February. The hotel was clean and the reception staff very helpful.

There was a Cycle Touring Club staying at the same time and we had 'Orchestrated Door Banging' every morning at 0730 when they were getting together for breakfast. The sound proofing between rooms is poor and we could hear the guy in the next room snoring.

The holiday was good value for money.

It was mildly irritating that AI guests can only have a glass of water and are not permitted to have a bottle of water with their meals, but that is only a minor moan.

The meals were reasonable - not a wide selection but the menu did change each day and there was always something that you could find to eat.

Unfortunately, I picked up a stomach bug whilst at the hotel and suffered a week of 'Galloping Gut Rot' when I got home. I know that I picked up something whilst there as I started with symptoms on the day before we left and had not eaten or drunk anything from anywhere else whist we were on holiday. I don't know exactly what caused the illness - tests found bacteriological cause, so it may have been a virus.

My wife was not affected, though we did not eat all the same things.

The food in the hotel was not very good,( i have never seen microwaves in a dining room before) Everything had to be warmed up or eaten cold. The staff were not very friendly, the entertainment was "a joke", My children had to learn the entertainment lady the dances. The hotel mainly catered for the Spanish, who were very ignorant and rude, without any manners. Won't be going back, noway.

We stayed in Fenals in the Royal Star Hotel in September, the hotel was nice and clean, and the rooms were lovely.

The food wasn’t great or the drink either. The pool area was great if not a little bit loud with everyone making the most of the all inclusive drinks.

The beach was very close by and that was lovely but also very busy especially at the weekend with all the Spanish people.

We would eat out a lot and would go over the road to Paula's Bar which was great, the staff in there are British and really friendly, you could be really fussy with what you wanted and nothing was too much trouble!! They used to put the soaps on at Nightime also for anyone who loves them. The food was really good and we ate there a lot once we were fed up with the cold all inclusive stuff.

Overall we had a nice holiday and would definitely go there again but maybe not all inclusive.

We have just stayed here for 5 nights that was enough. Nothing for children to do every night there was only disco music kids was just running around.

It says its 4 star never it’s more like 3 star. The staff on reception was nice and helpful but the bar staff all looked the same apart from one man who spoke to you, and was good with kids.

The food was ok for adults plenty to choose from, but nothing for kids if you went in the snack bar the food wasn’t hot.

It wasn’t warm enough to go in the pool, but they do have an indoor pool which is to hot in there also dark and very slippery. 2 children slipped and banged there heads.

We booked cheap Ryanair flights got a taxi 48 Euros hotel booked with Travel Republic who was also cheap and very good, and we got the local bus back to Gerona airport which is only 8 Euros each only takes 30 mins.

Lloret its self was nice, beach about 10 min walk away .You can also go into different hotels with you all inclusive card.

Ok for a quick break but wouldn’t go for a main holiday.

Really nice town lots of shops and bars.

Just got back from a 3 day break in this hotel and it was fine. Not 4 star but hey, it was good and pleasant and quiet.

We had originally booked into the Casino Royal but after reading the reviews changed hotels and are we glad we did! It was horrible, rough noisy there was a massive punched hole in the door of the ladies toilets.

I would not have stayed there for a gold pig really. Try the Royal Star coz it is nice. Hope this helps.

Hotel was nice and clean, was busy but you could always find a seat somewhere.

Food got a bit boring, but there was always something to eat. Snack bar was great if you missed a meal.

Entertainment was great, was actually quite impressed. Didn’t think we'd sit watching it!

There were lots on to do, Spanish lesson, games, exercise classes, dance classes. Was great.

There was a gym and indoor pool so no need to miss out on the pool just because the outside pool was cold. Not sure if the indoor pool is open all year round.

I would def go again, was the best hotel I’ve been to.

Looking for a holidays so was on here reading reviews, think people only leave bad reviews, thought I better stand up for the hotel. Had a great holiday and would recommend.

Very big hotel situated on extremely busy road. Food was hot, varied and plentiful. Staff helpful and pleasant. Very very clean. Animation was OK but everyone seemed to enjoy it. Plenty of sun beds.

Quite noisy throughout day up to midnight over front of hotel (road and swimming pool) but no noise at all inside. Overall we enjoyed this holiday.

We had a brilliant time at the water park but had to pay full price for our two kids 12 and 10 because of their height.

Hotel does reduce cost excursions for all inclusive guests to Barcelona, Gerona and Montserrat. Also Medieval Night only cost us 12 Euros each and it was quite good with Flamenco afterwards.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel after reading all the horrible reviews, we really did enjoy our stay.......except no Coke or Pepsi but some vile brand of cola which sent us flying to the shops. Fenals beach is 5 mins away and very pretty.

Loads of shops and restaurants nearby if you don't want to go into town centre.

We went for 14 nights and for the first week the food was good but as the hotel filled up the standard of food went down. Even some dishes that were excellent during the first week were dreadful during the second week. The entertainment was naff but that was what we expected.

The hotel would benefit from more outside tables being available at night because they do not pile the sunbeds up at night and with only a few tables around it was first come first served and they have never heard of a parasol! Some people were sat on the sunbeds simply because they wanted to sit outside.

The hotel was clean and tidy, the snack bar is inside so do not expect a snack in the sun and only expect make your own burgers. The all inclusive ice cream is just tubs of ice cream again only available in the indoor snack bar which is indoors and downstairs from the two pools.

We met some great people which made the holiday for us. We can recommend the restaurant across the road with the barbecued chickens. This rescued us after a lunchtime of cold soup and cloud made us decide to eat out.

I have just got back from staying at the Royal Star, the hotel is busy and can get noise. Especially at night. There was only myself and my two boys aged 12 & 14. We also after the second day started to eat out as the food at the hotel was not of a good standard for a 4 star hotel.

It was clean and we didn't have any problems with the staff, trying to get near the swimming pool's is a nightmare. If you're not up to the pools, just after breakfast, you’re not getting a seat at the pool. We did prefer walking down to the beach anyway. I would recommend trying to get a hotel closer to the centre of town, but I think you would be bothered more with the night life.

Every night is busy until the small hours of the morning. There are some really nice places to eat in town and good English, Irish and Scottish bars. If you want a good night out with out to many youngsters, go to Rob Roy's. Really nice staff and a good laugh is only a few minutes away. For eating I'd suggest the Piccadilly, good home made pub grub here, just head for the beach and you will find it

You will also find some good steak houses around town as well.

I did find Lloret a nice place, but not much for my kids to do, there is the water park, but this can be really busy and you can cue for sometime to use the rides. Everything costs.

If you like jet skiing, you can hire then at the beach, but be prepared to spend anything up to a 100 euros for half an hour.

Go karting is also available outside Lloret and this to will cost you anything from 45 – 50 euros.

We did make some good friends in Lloret and would go back, but I'd stay somewhere else and wait until the kids are older.
