The resort of Roses is excellent, loads to do and has a great beach and front. The marina and old town add a charm also. We drove through Europe and found this hotel as we looked around the resort. The hotels right on the promenade are very overpriced and found this 2 streets back but only a minutes walk from he beach so was quiet and cheaper too. The hotel is fine, looks a little dated ( many on front were also ) but is very clean and looked after. Maids came and changed every day. The pool area is very sunny and was very quiet all day despite lots of families around. There was a childrens play area, football area, a full sized tennis court, boules area and snack hut. Rooms are small with a balcony but we got one on roof and these were huge with huge roof a terrace and were very private. As the hotel was very Spanish/French as is resort, the food was ok in the hotel but food in the resort is cheap and good. The hotel is not huge which was nice and would stay again.
