The Sun City Holliday Village was in a very nice part of the town, ten minutes away from the beach.

It is meant to be a 4 star hotel but its nowhere near a two.

When we arrived early in the morning after being picked up two hours late. there was nobody to show us where everything was. all we got was there is your room key and the porter to show us where we had to go.

The reception area was not very good for the twoo weeks that we were there.

The room was good but you have to take the tag off the keys to keep the room cold, the fridge and the electricity working, for which they dont tell you.

We could not fault the staff that clean the rooms they were working very hard and were very freindly.

If there is a fault with any of the accommodation, it takes forever to get it done.

The showers run very hot and cold when you are having a shower so be careful if you have young ones.

There was not enough sun beds near the pool area so we were having to resort to the german method and getting up very early to reserve a bed.

On the evenings there was also not enough tables and chairs for everyone and not enough staff behind the bars.

Some of the staff were very rude and totally ignore people when they tried to get served.

At one point my son aged 15 got assaulted by a turkish man that works for a company that the hotel contract in for the ammusements. He grabbed my son by the throat and tried to stick a crisp packet down his throat.

When we talked to him in anger he denied that he had done this.

We eventually got the manager to speak to the man and he translated what we had to say to him as we had four witnesses see what he had done.

The manager said that he did not understand english but we find that very hard to believe as he was giving all the young girls tokens and none to the boys speaking very good english then.

The manger was very sorry for what happened but he did nothing to this man as he was still working there the next day.

We were shocked and found it appalling to find that he was still working with children. They gave my son 5 tokens for the rest of the holiday but that was not what we wanted he should have been sacked on the spot.

To get 3 tokens you have to pay 10 english pounds which is a totall rip off.

The Animation team were doing a very good job trying to keep the children entertained but with the lack of facilities and staff.

The food was vertually the same most nights. There was a lack of ice creams during the day and having to cue up for up to 30 minutes for snacks during lunch times.

We were told by people that we had met up with that you should stay away from Georgeous George, they had booked a jeep safari with this man and there was a lady with her kids and they were making very rude remarks about her breasts and asking if they could touch them, which made this lady very scared, shocked and upset.

The people that were with her had to step in and protect her.

The markets were very expensive, paying for copied materials at more than british prices and stall holders were very rude and you could not barter with them.

The Holiday Village have a blue lagoon lake and you get picked up by minibus at the hotel and there is timings, so you need to be at the front of the hotel early to get a seat, plus on the weekends the locals are allowed to use it so it gets very busy.

In saying al that we booked a boat and a quad bike trip with a man called Fartei better known as the rice man and we had a brilliant time so there is some nice people in turkey.

We will not be going back to that holiday village in a hurry, as it has been taken over by Russians and we got the feeling that they did not want the british there.

Arrived tired from night flight only to be told that we had no room as they had overbooked, we where put into another hotel called Marcan for 3 days which was a real pain as we had to go backwards and forwards for our dinners. The marcon was a nice hotel.

When we finally got to our rooms we where able to start our holiday and unpack our cases

Room was good pool was very clean and the food was good. The staff were very friendly and we had a great laugh with them. very difficult to get sunbeds unless you got up at seven am which did become a pain.

Site was very clean and olu deniz is a lovely place, kids had a fantastic time.Lots of people complaining about being overbooked and sunbeds, so if they could sort this out we would definatly go back

my holiday was absolutly FANTASTIC...sun city is a really good hotel, nothing went wrong apart from they over booked our room so we had to stay in another hotel for two nights, but we got compensation back off of that! but back to tha hotel it was a really nice holiday, especially because of the staff that worked there, there so funny and really helpful and friendly...the night life is good, big thanks to the animation team (entertainers) as they deffo made my holiday one to remember, without them i dont think it would have been half as good! one enterainer stood out especially...his name is lucky, he puts tha time and effort into his work and makes everybody smile without a doubt! xxx

we went to suncity for 2 weeks. 7.07.08-21.07.08

It was the first time we had gone allinclusive and we were very apprehensive. You could not fault it. We were really impressed. The food was great. There was plenty of choice, consantly restocked with fresly cooked food. Mant foods were being cooked by chefs on display. From breakfast, starting at 7.30 till supper, 11till12 midnight there was always something available to eat.

The rooms were more or less what they say in the brochure and are adequate. They are kept lovely and clean by hard working maids.

As for suncity itself the whole complex is beautiful. It is situated in lovely surroundings with overlooking mountains. The whole place is kept extremely clean.

Now let me get to the best part of our holiday. The ENTERTAINMENT TEAM. They are absolutely brilliant. We have to children, one age 2, the other age 12. Therfore it can be difficult to please both. Not here. They have a Mini Club for the kids and the two girls who work there, Elfie & Ozzy, are just great. They never stop and genuinly love kids.

Then there are the boys who do the land sports, LUCKY & RONALDO, again brilliant and very funny.

For all you energentic girls they have a lovely russain who does morning gym and arobics. She is a great girl and its all good fun. URIANA.

At night the whole team are brought together by the Cheif of Entertainment, CHIF PHILLIP, and MISS MILLIE. They put on some great dance shows, funny comedy sketches and some raelly good games on stage. They all take part and work really hard.

Olu Deniz is in a gorgoeus little bay. It has a lovely beach and is just a beautiful place.

If you are heading of to suncity holiday village and you have half as good a time as we had believe me you will have had a good holiday.

Spent 2 fantastic weeks at this hotel with my husband ,12 year old son and my in-laws.Overall the complex is in a great location ,the private lagoon beach was nice but the water very dirty with actual bits of sewage floating around .I guess it was ok as long as you dont put your head under the water. The plus side to it was lots of shady areas under lovely grape vines and fig trees and huge bean bags to lounge on also free sun beds and pedalos.

The hotel itself was very clean and the staff very friendly although the restaurant staff speak very little English. The food was fantastic and I dont know how anyone can say there was not enough choice .Breakfast consisted of the usual fresh fruit, yoghurts, muesli,a variety of breads,croissants...ohhh and turkish delight. For those who have to eat 'English' boiled eggs ,sausages, beans, toast ,scambled eggs....coffee...fresh juices ...omelletes ,pancakes ...ect ect.Dinner was fabulous loads of choice from lamb stir frys to beef casseroles ,mashed potatoes and chips every night for the kids.Loads of choices every day and even lamb carved in front of you which was fantastic.

The bar staff did not have you waiting aroud when I have been on all inclusives in the past I have always found the bar staff very slow ...here they serve you quickly and you get more than a good measure of alcohol.

One very bad point if you hate 'wasps' and other insects ...AVOID THIS HOTEL.At every meal time everyone had at least 5 wasps flying around there plate....we discovered by eating after 8.30 at night we avoided this as the wasps go home at dusk.A little boy was stung in the mouth one evening right at the side of our table which was very distressing. As I have an allergy to wasps i felt unable to eat in the restaurant some evenings and on occasion I left the table it got that bad.Olu Deniz is a lovely place and we are thinking of returning next year but to stay in Asena beach which is the hotel my parents stayed in next door to Sun city it was a little more refined.PS also if you hate loud music booming round the pool all day then again avoid ....the pool bar seems to try to compete with the dj around the pool as to who can get the music the loudest. This did not effect us too much as we spent most days at the beach.Overall the hotel was good ,staff lovely and if they just tweaked it in places.....fumigate it and sack the pool side dj then it would be fantastic.

after a lovely week last week at sun city village we would recomend it to any couples or families thinking of going to olu deniz. we were very impressed after arriving at one o clock in the morning to be greeted by the very friendly staff and the nice service of your bags being taken by one of the staff to your room. The small buffet which was on for us arriving was very welcome! and the free drinks bar for a couple of hours, just what was needed after a long journey! The selection of food was very vast at meal times, but was the same selection each day. Well worth the money going all inclusive even if you do not eat there for every meal .We must have saved even on our soft drinks through the day! Most of the alcohol drinks were free all day until 2 in the morning which was good. Hotel rooms are cleaned every day and are basic but were fine. Well worth a visit to Sun City Private beach which is beautiful and relaxing, a private bus runs a few times a day to and from the hotel. Very impressed with the bean bags provided for a very relaxing time while sun bathing at the beach. There is also a small quiet pool at the hotel, if you want to get away from the 'Entertainment team' trying to get you to join the poolside games! Wish we had also been warned about how cold it gets at night in May, we had no jackets or cardigans with us and had to buy them in Olu Deniz.

Very enjoyable holiday for the beginning of the season and very warm through the day, would definetly return to Sun City.
