We went for Easter and encountered hoards of teenage kids from Portugal that came in by the bus load! They were extremely noisy until 6am every night and sleeping was impossible until 7am, even when wearing ear plugs! It's definitely a place for young lively people not needing to sleep at night. I'm not sure if it's like that all year but I heard from locals that it's like that every Easter.
The beach is fantastic. It's a steep walk to the sea and there is loads of nice sand. There are lots of lovely coastal walks and interesting things to check out such as an old castle. It can be very steep there so great to keep fit!
The restaurants around were generally average, and the locals not particularly friendly- we are more used to the very friendly locals in Greece and this wasn't the same.
The apartments were awful- we didn't even have proper beds! It was more like a caravan with basic mattresses on platforms on different walls- not very romantic! In the end we put the mattresses on the floor every night. We didn't have pillows, just cushions. We saw some in a cleaner’s cupboard and asked the management if we could use it but apparently you're not allowed if you're staying in the apartments!!! Mad!
We couldn't ever get through to any tour rep, but in the end Fleetway refunded us £40.
