The Holiday Inn Express at Bruce B Downs just off the I75 is one of the best managed hotels we have ever stayed in. Minutes from Busch Gardens but in a new development near restaurants, shops and a cinema this hotel is excellent value for money.

You notice a very modern building in an attractive setting as you drive in to the car park. On check in the friendly staff give you a free beer or water. Your room is big for the money and well maintained. Free ice cream is served at 8.00pm - and a free breakfast is available. The dining room also features free internet.

During breakfast the Manager talks to guests - and really listens to any comments - this is the secret of success - listening to customers.

Its a great location for Busch Gardens and it's water park Adventure Island - though the gloomy weather made us abandon the planned trip to the water park and we instead went to Lowry Park Zoo - an excellent medium sized facility.

If you like value for money and good customer service we cannot recommend this too highly.
