I and 5 friends, all girls, went to stay in this hotel for 10 nights in June. This was an excellent hotel with all the amentities needed for an enjoyable stay. It had an excellent bathroom with a hairdryer located within it. The kitchen was also very well equipped and we even managed to have a 3 course dinner party one night - with the use of the handy dining table. The balcony was exceptionally clean and spacious which had great views of the beach and the mountains. The location is excellent with only a few steps to the nearest supermarket which sold all the neccessary household items at a very reasonable price. Additionally, extremely close to local bars, cafes, shops and restaurants. In easy walking distance to the 24 hour square- the local clubs- but for those who cant be bothered with that - the taxi rank is mere minutes away and at very reasonable rates. We would all thoroughly recommend this aparthotel and are planning on going back in the summer of 2010.

  • Advice: excellent for friends, families, beach goers, those who love hanging at the pool etc.
  • Activities: dolphin sightseeing at the puerta marina, jacks american restaurant, tivoli world
  • Good For: Beach

We loved this hotel, clean bright lovely modern apartments. slightly off the main road but well worth the short stroll. the staff friendly and very helpfull. we are goin back in a few weeks time although the pool will be closed but the comfort of the rooms more than makes up for it. better than the 3 stars it rated at. love it cant wait to go back.

My mother and I spent a week here recently ( sept 2009) and it was an amazing hotel the aprtments were spotless. You have everything you need like a washer/tumble dryer, microwave, hob cooker and a dish washer. The staff were very friendly and happy which was nice. The pool area was very clean as well and they had plenty of sun loungers for everyone.
The hotel is right near the beach and there are lovely restaurants near by there is a mini marcket shop right outside the front door of the hotel which is handy. The hotel is in a nice quite area there are no loud bars near it. I was on hols with my mum so it was nice and relaxed if you are looking for a 18-30's thing then this would not be a place for you as the nearest night clubs and disco bars would be up at Puerto Marina or in Torromolinos.
The marina is a lovely place to go it is a 40 minute walk from the hotel but very easy to get to the restaurants and bars are very nice as well and not that expensive. You can book all your boat trips from here there is plenty to choose from.
If you decide to go here you will have a great time.

  • Advice: Very relaxing, everyone is very friendly and lots of things to do here or just laze about.
  • Activities: the gibraltor tour was worth while. The water front restaurants are all fab

just returned from a weeks stay with partner an 2 older teenagers this hotel is as good as the pictures look appart from the pool the picture makes it look a tad tacky and its not its loverly the fence around it is to stop the little ones running in there is a life guard on at all times an even tho you cant reserve a bed there are plenty to go arround, the sofa bed is very comfortable as are the twin beds i can not fault this hotel at all an the veiws from going up the stairs rather than the lift are loverly i would certainly return again an recomend it to any one, its a 2 min walk from the beach an shops the fact its set back off the main road is good as you dont get the noise at night time it cost 25 euro's from the airport and undre 10 to the center, tivolli and the marina, if u fancie the aqua park take a packed lunch its expencive to get in an the food is poor an dear an dont hire the blow ups unless u want to go on the rapids tivolli is well worth a visit as is the marina an a walk up the beach front shops i did find it more expencive to eat out this year burt there is s good resurant called resurant ole on the beach front walk quiet near to the marina they do 2 courses from 6,90 and its very nice.

We have just returned from a week stay at the Arcosur Principe Spa in Benalmadena. We booked ourselves and were a bit worried about what the accommodation would be like. This hotel has 3 stars but I feel it should be rated higher. It is immaculate with all mod con's. Staff are very friendly and helpful and spoke good English which helped us as only one of the family has a few Spanish words. It was very busy but we were out and about most of the time, the hotel is handy for the beach, the marina, cable car ride, sea life centre and lots of other attractions. It is easy to hop on a bus and taxis are easy to book. We found it a great place to take our young teenage daughters. We would most definitely return there and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

  • Activities: Cable car ride definitely worth doing especially the birds of prey display

My family and i have just returned from 3 weeks holiday in Benalmadena. Despite
the fact that the resort was quite busy we had a most enjoyable holiday. The weather was
lovely and we were lucky to have visited inland Andalucia and Morocco as well as enjoying the coast.
The Arcosur Principe was superb! A really well run aparthotel with friendly staff. The one bedroom apt. was quite spacious with a nicely decorated bedroom with twin beds. The main room had a sofa which very easily converted to a double bed. All the other mod coms were in the apt. The apt. was kept in a spotless condition by the household staff who i think cleaned the apt. daily. We booked this hotel off the internet and we were quite worried before we left for holidays that the hotel would be o.k. but as soon as we set foot in the hotel we knew we had picked a winner! I would have no hesitation in recommending this fine hotel to anybody.
A big muchas gracias to all the staff.

A Great Break

Just returned from a 3 night break and I have to say that I was not disappointed. The photos online are totally accurate and this accomodation is of a really high standard. We were lucky to be upgraded on arrival so had a two bed, two bathroom apartment with a balcony and a roof terrace. This was great for two girls as we had plenty of room to spread out all our stuff!! The apartments are really modern with everything you could need. The reason I have marked them as a 9 is that the wooden floors were grubby and I did seem to have dirty feet as soon as I got out of the shower! There were also plenty of sunbeds and although we did put towels down about 8am on two of the mornings, they were removed on the 3rd and we were advise you were not allowed to reserve sunbeds - no problem though as there were always plenty available. The marina is about a 40 minute walk and the promenade with restaurants is about 15 minutes. Plenty of choice of places to eat but not many bars. These are located in the square near the marina but have to say we didnt venture here. The people staying at the apartments were mainly spanish and english and everyone was friendly. All in all this was a great place for a girly break and we loved it so much we are going back next year.

I just came back from a week hoilday at the hotel and it was fabulous. It is situated in a serene environment and about a five minute walk from all your necessities; such as the local supermarket which opens six days a week and is closed on sunday, two cash dispensers right outside the hotel, a short walk to the beach and mcdonalds and a local shop which is reasonably priced for any last minute purchases and soverneirs. It cost approxiamately 25 euros from the airport to the hotel. And about ten euros to get to the local shopping centre, clubs (which are open until 7am so the later you leave the better) and aqualand. The spa is also wonderful and I would advise to go on wednesday which is when they offer a half priced deal. The rooms are just as gorgeous as the pictures and I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone of any age group as you will always find something to do.

  • Advice: Gorgeous place with lots to do, definitely worth visiting

Just returned from a weeks holiday with my 3 children. the apartments are gorgeous, very modern with all the mod cons. dishwasher, air con, tv and hairdryer. all apartments have lovely views of either the sea or mountains. the apartments were very clean and the staff were very polite and helpful. the pool is manned by a life guard all day. bars and shops are a short walk to the front were the beach can be found. tivolli world is a 6euro taxi ride (check local opening times though!) theres not much nightlife at this end of benalmadena but is perfect for younger children and couples.

This Hotel is the BEST. If you want the best hotel/self catering then this has to he the one. The reception staff go out of there way to help with any requests you may have, nothing is too much trouble for them. The self catering rooms are supurb with everything you will need for your stay. Kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine microwave/grill 4 ring hob, very large fridge freezer, plenty of crockery and cutlery. In the bathroom is a fantastic power hower, toilet and bidet. large bedroom with larger than usual single beds, a large mirrored wardrobe with a safe inside which is free and easy to use, also a t.v. and sliding doors to the balcony. The lounge has a very comfortable double bed setee, flat screen t.v. with bbc 1 and sky news and sliding doors to the balcony. Everything is spotless. On the ground floor is a spa where the staff once again are very friendly, there is a swimming pool, hydro pool. sauna and steam room, this is 15 euros for 90 mins, you can also have treatments, ie massage, manicure pedicure etc, manicure was 15 euros. There is no restuarant at this hotel only a small bar where you can buy food and drink. A short walk out of them hotel is plenty of places to eat and drink. This hotel is well worth a visit and have to give it 10/10 you will not be disapointed.
