Timoulay Hotel

After reviewing all the Agadir's hotel review from Tripadvisor, we decided to chose this hotel and we were not disappointed. We are very impressed with services we received. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel experiences are made up for the boring Agardir resort. I think this hotel is most suitable for couples looking for a relaxed and peaceful holiday. There is a reason this hotel is currently no.1. For a 4 star hotel you get 5* service. It's medium size means you get all the benefits of a larger hotel, with the intimate nature of a smaller one. The waiters for instance get to know your room number when you order drinks and the pool boy even placed our towels on 2 sunbeds whilst we went for a walk! We were travelling in Morocco and decided to stay in this hotel for two nights between Casablanca and Essaouira. The hotel is very nice and clean and upgraded us to suite upon arrival. The breakfast and dinner buffet is very good quality. However the hotel missed our wake up call on the day we left hence we missed the transport booked to Essaouira. Fantastic hotel, great service & very clean. We stayed half board in May 2008 & were very impressed with the variety of food served every night. Only slight disappointment was the bar in the evenings which lack atmosphere.

Timoulay hotel is an absolute haven ideal for those wanting total relaxation. The rooms are very clean and spacious and have a balcony overlooking a peaceful pool area. All the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is kept exceptionally clean in fact we began to wonder if they had an obsession with cleaning. We would highly recommend Hotel Timoulay to anyone wanting aa quite retreat without being to far from the beach and centre of Agadir.

This hotel stands out in Morocco. We've stayed at over a dozen places over the years, and this was perhaps our best experience. We booked it through a travel agent and got a great deal on half-board for five nights. [There aren't loads of great restaurants in Agadir so the half-board option works well.] There are more expensive and larger places to stay, but if you are looking for a well-run, peaceful vacation spot, this is perfect. I have just arrived back from two weeks in this excellent small hotel. The hotel is set on the outskirt of Agadir, which make it a quiet hotel , but you can walk or get a taxi into the more developed part of Agadir. The beach is about 10 minutes walk, but at the moment there is building work along the beach front as a promanard is being built. If I had been staying in on of the big hotel on the beach front I would have been very unhappy, but the Timoulay is such a great hotel and not crowded it was an effort to leave the comfortable... more

I have just returned from a week's holiday at the Hotel Timoulay which I chose having read the helpful reviews on tripadvisor. I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel is new, small (compared to the seemingly massive hotels nearby) immaculately kept and the staff are exceptional in terms of politeness and helpfulness I cannot speak highly enough of them. Loved it! We stayed there just for one night only but we were definitely impressed by the hotel. The girl who checked us in & the night staff were very helpful & friendly. The room had two beds (double & a single) and there was a couch too. Twas very clean. The balcony from the room was overlooking the pool which was really amazing. Excellent hotel, good food, good prices, I booked this hotel thinking that it's right on the beach but it's not, it's a good 20 minutes walk to the beach. You can see the ocean from the balcony but the beach is little far, you have to either drive or walk there. Other than that I loved everything about it, service, staff, cleansiness, food. For people coming from Marrakech, be aware that Agadir is much cooler.
