Location = 5+ Stars, centre of the three valleys with excellent access to ski slopes. Quick access to all three valleys, Meribel, Chourchevel & Val Thornes. When I return to the 3 Valleys, I would stay here again, based solely upon the excellent location.
Price = Great value for the 3 Valleys.
Rooms = 3 Stars, average rooms and some baths with Jacuzzi tub. Rooms were clean and simple.
Dining Room = 2 Stars, evening group dinner food was less than average, heavy with a lot of sauces. However, breakfast (3 Stars) was tasty and substantial.
Bar = 3+ Stars, small but staff was very friendly and provided good service.

We loved our holiday at Le Hotel Mottaret. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient (in fact, nothing was too much trouble). The food was great, very French and different (we were more than happy to try anything new), very tasty and a wide selection.
All in all, it was a fabulous place to stay with excellent access to the slopes. We highly recommend the hotel.
