Anabel Hotel
The Anabel Hotel is in a central location, only 350 m from the beach and 100 m from the Shopping Centre. Lloret de Mar is in the south of the Costa Brava, 70 Km from Barcelona, and covers 47 Km2 with five main beaches and a total of 7 Km of coastline. The EU has awarded its beaches the Blue Flag, which is a benchmark guaranteeing the highest of standards both in terms of the quality of the water and the sand and of the services. Lloret is considered to be one of the tourist resorts with the most sporting facilities and with a variety of shopping, leisure and culinary opportunities which, together with the hotel and apartment infrastructure, places it firmly in first place, in terms of name, variety and quality, of all the tourist regions in Spain.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Sunway Hotel and found it very nice. The window to our room was facing the road, so some nights we found it hard to get to sleep, especially if we slept with the window open. (We did this sometimes as even though each room has air conditioning, you have to pay for the remote control to operate it. This is charged at a day or weekly rate).
The staff were quite friendly although one or two didn't speak fluent English. The food was basic but nice enough and there are many restaurants/eateries in the area where cheaper and nicer food is available if you require. The pool area is large enough and the staff are always on hand for a chat and will go to the pool bar to get you food and drink if you want them to. The entertainment is very basic, but may improve as the season goes on. The staff at the onsite Turkish Baths are very nice, but be aware if you go for one as they will try and get you to have other things done. I.e. massage, pedicure, manicure etc at extra cost.
The beach is not too far away and one of the best restaurants is Mandarin, which is a few doors along from Sunway. The staff there are hilarious and very welcoming to all who goes there.(and not only to get your money).
All in all I would say that we had good stay at the Sunway and the only way to judge is to see for yourselves.
