We booked this last minute and without reading any reviews before we went! We arrived at the hotel at around 1.30 - 2 in the morning and it was obviously spotlessly clean. The staff that were around at that hour of the morning were extremely courteous and helpful.
We checked in and went straight up to our rooms, which again were very clean but also very basic but hey, if your all inclusive, what more do you need! We were very relieved to find that the rooms were air conditioned as Corfu was having a heat wave at the time. We sat on the balcony for a few minutes when our neighbour informed us that they were not that impressed with the hotel or the food and that they had been told that the hotel had only been open a couple of weeks! We went to bed fearing the worst.
When we woke the next morning and looked out from our balcony we were gob smacked to find that not only did the hotel look great but that we were right opposite the Greek mainland and could watch the sun rise first thing in the morning. Talk about sea view! Our room looked right out onto the pool and then down onto the beach and out to sea. FANTASTIC!!!
We met up with our friends and went down to breakfast. Full cooked English available: egg, sausages, hash browns, tomato, beans, toast, etc. Juice, tea, coffee, cereals. No problem.
Down to the pool! No problems here either. Spotlessly clean both in an out and well maintained. Plenty of sun loungers for everybody so no need to reserve beds either. If you don't like the pool, no problem, just walk around the side of the pool by the fruit trees in the garden and drop down to the beach where there are more sun loungers for those of you who like the beach.
Meals were great ... always chips for the more fussy eaters amongst us. Always a meat option, veggie option and tons of salad. After the restaurant closed for breakfast and lunch you could select snacks from the bar, some lovely hot pastries.
We had no complaints about this hotel at all. The staff were fantastic and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. Ok there wasn't a lot of poolside activities and the night entertainment wasn't fantastic but if they hadn't been open long ... only for 6 weeks when we were there ... they were doing a damn good job so far and we would be more than happy to go back to stay there again.
Clean, tidy, pleasant staff, well stocked bar, food a plenty. What more could you want from an all inclusive. The only downside to our holiday was some of the extremely rude and greedy guests who were there at the same time!
