Rooms are small but adequate with a shower/bath and TV. I would definately suggest to people to go for the full board option food is top quality and you can eat as much as you want. The only problem is the Maitre' D who is a bit of a drama queen and very camp he laughed in our faces a few time which wasn't the nicest of things. But overall saving money as bars and resturants on slopes prices are complete robbery. The one problem with the hotel is the night entertainment. We had a show it was their idea of commedy but we only laughed at their complete stupidity which in fairness was hillarious, we were the only ones who laughed at all. You can get a cable car down to Arc 1950 which is really nice but not many bars offering entertainment. If you can find your own entertainment you will be fine. Students will find the hotel ideal. Hopefully in season 09 the vanoise express should be up and running as la plagne is a brilliant resort.

We stayed here during Feb half term '07 and have re booked 3 rooms for Easter '08. The hotel is on the piste with the nearest drag lift 10m from the door, so the location is ideal.
All the rooms with balconies face the lift, so a great place for people watching at the end of the day. Last year our group included 3 teenagers, who were all happy with the hotel and the food.
One evening with rabbit on the menu we decided to eat out, the reception staff complained that had they known they would have prepared a special meal for us. We enjoyed all the evening meals, especially the fondue evening and the nights where the chefs prepared a number of special desserts. Breakfast is basic but ok.
The rooms are clean and fairly typical. There's a nice sun terrace on the piste and a place to buy Crepes. The bar in the evenings was very quiet but served a good 'jd' and coke, nuff said. We ate lunch at the hotel on our first day, which was also good.
Generally the hotel is good value, clean with friendly staff and a great location, thus our return visit. We booked directly with the hotel, budget flights to Grenoble and connections with BensBus.
