Stayed for 3 days in family room and want to let others know how great this place is for all your needs.
The place is very clean and tidy and the staff were amongst the most helpful we have come across. Tea and coffee in room and top ups readily available at reception. Good information for City attractions in Lobby area.
We booked online with ease and when we arrived booked the breakfast option and glad we did. All meals are taken at the adjacent Brewers Fayre and I can only say that for what you pay you will be pleasantly surprised.
Although not central to Edinburgh's main attractions you are only a short walk away from Ocean Terminal shopping centre and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Just outside you can get the Bus that takes you on a tour of the city and you can get on and off when you like.
Highly recommend you visit the Botanical garden's, but remember to give it about 3 hours to have a good look around.
The location in the Newhaven area is ideal as well as you are right on the harbour and there are a few good eateries and excellent pub grub just around the corner.
Newhaven and the local area is also interesting to walk and look around with some fine old buildings to see.
