Hi we went there for a week at beginning of May, and for the price it was great. very clean hotel and rooms , friendly staff, good location, clean pool. no air conditioning though. very nice hotel would certainly go back. just around the corner from the yumbo centre.

We went to Tamaran apartments on 28th April for the week, there in a excellent location.. receptionistare really friendly and helpful didnt get a chance to go in pool as always really busy!!! the hotel bar is nice n cheap as a starter! I recommend mobys opposite food there is really good and good prices, and plus staff are super!! Yumbo is 5 mins walk away! beach again 5 mins although we didnt no this!! Weve been to Gran Canaria 3 times and back again in sept! would recommend these apartments just not the pool!! British Bulldog is a must aswell for breakfats and if at the beach try roma and dunes and tunes!! stayin at Liberty in sept!!

The Tamaran apartments was in a superb location for the local beach (only 2mins walk) and one of the islands biggest shopping centre (the Yumbo), restaurants and bars lined the street we were based on and Moby Dicks was definitely our favourite restaurant located right across the road from the apartments.
The apartments were cleaned daily with fresh linen changed twice in the week that we stayed there. The apartments were basic and were going for using it as a drop off/sleeping area.
The pool was clean, 1 adult pool and 1 child's pool. You had to be quick for the sun loungers though with some people going to the extreme of pulling the loungers into their apartments on the ground floor!
Staff not so helpful, the less you need to interact with them the better and the same applied to the holiday rep, he wasn’t interested unless you were booking trips through him. Quick when signing all the holiday makers in though.

for the price we paid i wasnt expecting much, but this hotel was excellent. i went with 8 of my mates for two weeks, had a great time. the hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are a very good size and the pool is also very good. only problem was location, as we were quite far away from the main bars & restaurant so had to get taxi's, but there were always taxi's available and they were cheap. definately recommend this hotel.
