I booked this hotel from its web site. Described as having panoramic views, I don’t know who thought that one up as it is surrounded by trees.
Our room was in a separate chalet type building about 100 yards across the car park on a pouring wet weekend.
The room was clean but the so called double bed was only suitable if you were no taller than 5'6" Being 6' and my wife 5'10" our feet stuck out the bottom of the bed.
The central heating system was switched off and when I complained at reception I was told its summertime. This on a cold wet weekend more November than June. It was a couldn't care less attitude.
I shall certainly be writing to the management team of Best Western Hotels to complain and my advice to anyone thinking of booking in here is to think again.

Loved it. Peaceful surroundings, large old house, terrific food & really friendly staff. Room was comfortable, not luxurious but large. Plenty of parking & a real adventure to find it. Will definitely stay again.
